What would an end-of-year recap of the last 12 months be without revisiting the most recent and most important event of the year?... The 2010 mid-term Elections!
If you are like me, you are left wondering... What the hell happened to California with the election of Jerry Moonbeam Brown and the re-election of Barbara Boxer, amidst all of the conservative backlash against liberals which took place across the country???
This video started out as a post-election in-your-face conservative gloat piece, combined with anti-liberal rib jabbing fun poked at California for electing someone like Jerry Brown for Governor.
However, the lyrics in the song I used lent itself so well to so many other related topics that this video ended up evolving into an interesting parallel between Jerry Brown and Barack Obama.
If you don't pick up on or agree with any of the points made, that's ok.... It was still just meant for fun.

It was widely and accurately predicted. The productive class and their jobs moved out of Californica for low tax business friendly states like Texas.
The non-productive population remained in CA. Also immigrant non-voters (not yet) moved into CA to maintain its population.
Same happened in my Illinois. Productive work leaves the state. The parasites become a bigger percentage of the pie.

I’m all for doing a video devoted to kicking the elitist GOP RINOS out of office right along with the communist libtards.

Yes... I agree... but hearing him say it in 1992 followed by another BS run in 2010 makes it all the more revealing... and hypocritical.
I really wanted to clip out and loop the “It’s all a lie” several places throughout the video.

More and more people are starting to figure that out now though... and more and more new republicans elected to congress understand it as well.
I think a lot of our new tea party candidates understand that this is the GOP’s last chance... and maybe even their last stand unless they really turn some tables.
It’s going to take some real courage for them to buck the system... and i’m not holding my breath... but it’s do or die time now.
