Maybe you could do a seach using religion as a key word. Then you could look at those threads and perhaps get an idea. Is there a special reason you are asking?

Out of the last 50 threads posted in the religion forum, some of which are still pretty new, at least 39 have reached more than 3 responses, with the highest reaching 124. If this is a large enough sample to be representative, then about 80% or more of religion threads reach more than 3 responses.

And the point of your question is?
To: gorush
Woo hoo...now you have more than 3 responses! Unless you meant you wanted three from three different posters.

(I bet that this will not be one of them.) You're very perceptive, since this isn't on the Religion Forum.

I guess that depends on what you call a ‘religious post’. I recollect a post last weekend that had to with a ‘homosexual agenda’ issue and it had well over a hundred last time I looked.

I don't know. I stay away from the Religious sub-forum most of the time. Not what I'm here for.

One from last weekend had over 1250 posts as of yesterday. (It was a Catholic vs. Presbyterian cage match.)

A better question would be: What percentage of religion posts don’t start with a 100,000 word introduction/explanation/condemnation copied from another site of a topic already covered dozens of time on FR that ends up with FreeRepublicans saying nasty garbage to each other for hundreds of posts?

Depends on the type. Those things Vision posts every morning from Joel Olsteen have few, if any, responses becuase they are “protected”. That means there is nothing to say. I have no respect for Olsteen so I just ignore them.
OTOH, most of the religious threads I see are VERY popular, when people are allowed free speech.

I'd like to know what percentage of religious threads ultimately devolve into UFOs and ET Squared.
ET Squared, for the unaware, is the involvement of Extra Terrestrials in End Times prophecy. For more on ET Squared, check out this religious post that got more than 60 replies, even though it was mistakenly not posted in the Religious Forum:

Since I ignore religious threads like the plague unless they are actually part of a news story, I wouldn't know.
I understand that there is a religion forum here; Too bad its use is not universal.

I think that these stupid “devotional” posts with that phony Joel Osteen should be banned.
