This live thread will cover the Orange County (FL) investigators' news conference today on the Caylee Anthony case. It is set to start at 1:30 p.m. EST. It was reported that it is being held due to intense public demand for information on this case. The participants will include: 1. Sgt. Allen 2. Det. Melich 3. CSI Bloise (forensics) 4. Dep. Forgy (K-9 handler) 4. Dep. Osbourne (computer specialist: chloroform)
Since we are in daylight savings time right now, would that be 2:30 EDT?
Right now, I have very little faith OR respect for the jury system as it now is. Something needs to be changed, not sure what—pro jury, maybe, or at least require an intelligence test—and laws that they cannot profit from the trials in which they participate, other than what they’re paid by the state.
But mistakes were made. That was on the scroll below her picture. Did she say that or was that an assumption on the part of whoever was typing in that scroll message?

The sheriff spoke about serious allegations of witness tampering, which are being investigated.
That little creep Baez is just the type of slimy storefront lawyer who would send muscle out to intimidate witnesses.
I wish Sheriff Demings the best of luck in this investigation.

When I was fiddling with picking up the link I saw comments to that effect from viewers in the margin of my screen.
Please elaborate if you know anything else. THAT certainly is an interesting little tidbit.
If they find proof, I hope they have the courage to prosecute. For some reason, everyone seems to be trying to walk on eggshells. Cindy should most certainly be prosecuted for perjury. And maybe George’s wannaebe girlfriend (River Cruz? was that her name?) too.

Someone asking about all of the lies in the case. “This case was built on lies” How do you feel about that?
Response: not uncommon for people to lie. BUT these lies took up precious resources. Taxpayer funded. Money could have been used to find other missing kids.
I have to wonder if there was some jury tampering too. Not saying there was, but it was a very peculiar verdict, and they reached it in a very peculiar manner.

Good point. I hope Equusearch sues and gets reimbursed for the thousands of dollars Casey’s lies took away from other searches.
