I see your tongue firmly in cheek. I also note that the usual suspects who endlessly post the same links, working or not, or post the same charges over and over, are not in evidence today.

Where are you guys? Don’t you think if you post the word “Guardasil” in 48 point font just one more time (maybe with a ninth exclamation mark this time), you’ll save a wayward soul from the evil Perry?

Moderator's are you listening? Can a thread be pulled because it is just stupid?

Well I can probably find a couple of dozen of those threads that are active right now.

Push the abuse button and see.

BTW, do you hate Rick Perry?

I was hoping to draw them all into one place so we could have a picnic. I brought hot dogs and chips. Did anyone bring drinks?

Since nobody who was invited has shown up yet, maybe this thread should be the subject of a NEENER HIJACK.

Aggreing with you. I think everyone needs to chill out.

Where are the optimist in our Party today? I’m sick of the infighting between people who have their favorites, and are too eager to help the left wing media destroy the competition or the poll leader. We should be glad of the candidates we have and those that may still jump in.

Go back to last year at this time when it looked like the field was going to be the same names as 2008 minus Fred Thompson and McCain. The names popping up then were Huntsman, Huckabee, Romney, Rudy, and Ron Paul. At the time It looked very dismal and the talk on FR was depressing. It was nothing but RINOs on the list, or those who had zero chance of a nomination.
Move forward one year and we have a field with people like, Bachmann, Perry, and Cain, Newt, and one or two more names that are still possibilities. That would be a dream come true, if you were to ask us a year ago.

“If elected, Rick Perry will be the most conservative since Ronald Reagan.”

Yet to be proved. He was a Democrat and supported Democrat campaigns until he saw opportunity as a Republican in a changing Texas political landscape.

His stand on illegal immigration is almost as bad as Obama.

He represents the big money Republicans who have disdain for the conservatives who make America America.

He has a lot to prove before he gets Reagan’s mantle. He can start by disavowing his pro amnesty/cheap labor stand.

It's called the Primary process pal. If you really can't stand the front runner then become a delegate in your Precinct caucus and work in the nomination of someone else from a grassroots level. We don't “destroy” candidates. The politics of destruction is a Democrat thing, NOT ours.

I wish you hadn’t posted this absurd post. It is ridiculous considering you claim to be for Palin. It can be said that if Palin couldn’t stand the heat the libs in AK was dishing out to her, how is she going to handle the Chicago boys and Soros?

I brought the Asbach Uralt. It makes the very best Rudesheimer coffee, which I, of course, make a great American version of with my own famous recipe.

shot of uralt in cup.
tbs of sugar in cup.
20 second microwave.
light uralt with long-handled lighter
burn for 30 seconds, blow out flame
add 1/2 cup strong coffee (kenyan or ethiopian)
add cream and stir
add whipped cream
sprinkle with chocolate flakes or dust

pretend it’s the caffein you enjoy. This perfect balance of fast and slow will keep you at the posted limit of 55.

BTW, here is what I think of Perry:

He isn’t the most liberal of the Republican candidates, and he isn’t the most conservative of the Republican candidates. He is the most conservative, electable Republican candidate. I would happily vote for him.

The really rabid Perry haters consistently refuse to state who they are for. Why? My guess is that they are either Ron Paul supporters, or they are really pissed-off Sarah Palin supporters.

The Sarah Palin supporters are really, really pissed off because they don’t want anyone to dare select a candidate until Sarah gets in. She could have done so on September 3, but she didn’t. Based on what I have read, my guess is that she isn’t going to this time.

99.99999% of the people in the United States aren't fit or equipped to be President, myself included. Just because you think that a person should not hold the office of President doesn't mean you think that they are scum. I am sure Rick Perry is a good man and he appears to be a competent Governor, but he is not my choice for President.

In all actuality there are only three people presently running for the Republican nomination that I wouldn't vote for at all and two that I would have to Uncle ‘Jack’ and Brother ‘Jim’ for a bit before I went and voted.

Perry is a corrupt-o-crat, just as is Obama, and as was GWB, Clinton, GHWB, and all surrounding them. The reason the Bushes don't like Perry is that he is so blatant and amateurish about his corruption -- an embarrassment to professional corrupt-o-crats who are slick enough to hide their corruption behind a maze of globalist connections.

And no, I won't give any clues about whom I support for President; holding my cards close to the vest; loose lips sink ships; mums the word; nobody's business; I'm still trying to decide; or whatever.

I was in Rudescheim a couple of years ago. Drank some Ansbach and brought some home to drink (all gone now). We also took the ferry across the Rhine (fastest-moving river I’ve ever seen) at Rudescheim to view the giant Germania statue commemorating the Franco Prussian war.

Love Germany. Can’t wait to try your recipe.
