I just turned Neal Boortz off, he came on ridiculing today's legal eligibility proceedings in Georgia. This isn't the first time he has pi$$ed me off but he showed his a$$ big time today.

Sven, are you going to make this comment all over FR today? What you are saying doesn’t make a lick of sense to me.

The issue is that Obama Sr. was a British citizen, evidenced on the BC and admitted to by NObama himself...thus NObama is not natural-born.

That does not follow. He's a citizen, he did not need to be naturalized to become a citizen; ergo, he is a natural-born citizen. QED.

I think that’s a guest host, not Neal.

No, it was both of them, Neal and Eric. They both definitively said that this was a birther thingy, that the lawsuit was contesting the citizenship of Obamby, and that it is supremely embarassing to the state of Georgia...

Pathetic, really, that neither one can even get the basic facts correct. What is at issue is Obamby's eligibilty for President (i.e. father not a citizen at birth of Obamby), not his citizenship. They both definitely have an agenda, and it is not a conservative one. Neal is a libertarian, and I don't have a clue what Eric is... confused, perhaps...

Actually, what really happened was lawyer Van Irion didn’t contest Obama’s bogus birth certificate since his whole argument was solely about Obama not being a natural born citizen based on Obama not having a US citizen father. That does not mean that Mahili took any judicial notice to Obama Internet [BC] picture.

The other lawyer Hatfield, argued that in accordance with the laws of Georgia, a disputed over a candidate’s eligibility, he has the onus to prove that he is eligible to be on the ballot. We all know Obama lawyers did not attend the hearing, or did they enter any birth certificate into court as evidence. Gotta go for now.... :-)

The first plaintiff was not arguing where he was born but his status as a NBC. The second plaintiff introduced expert testimony that the copy of the birth certificate released was a fraud. Obama failed to provide any rebuttal to this testimony. if the judge rules in favor of the second plaintiff, he would be ruling that the copy submitted in the first case was fraudulent. That’s how I see it but I am not a lawyer.

Thank you kindly. I just do not follow Sven’s comments about “set up” and all that stuff.

Well, it’s actually quite a bit different. Look... I’m not any big fan of Romney. Cain was my favorite and he flamed out early. But I’ll be voting for the (R) that we end up with, whoever it is. It might be Newt, but it probably won’t be. Like most of us, I’ve got no say in that.

One thing to keep in mind is that it is much more important what a President will actually ~do~ in the future then what the candidate may have done in the past. Past actions and beliefs are interesting, but they’re not controlling in any sense. These are politicians, after all. We use their record to try to guess what they’ll do now, but often it ends up not tracking much at all. What matters is what we believe about what they’ll actually do. Ronald Reagan didn’t have a very conservative record either. Some of his policies weren’t very conservative either. But he got the big ones right. It’s a good reason to be hopeful that whomever we end up with as a candidate, we’re the ones that can help to steer them the right way and help them with our voices to make the right decisions.

Anyway... just a couple of thoughts.

Boortz, the boor, is an anti-Christian bigot.

Stopped listening to him years ago.

RE: “How long does someone have to be here before he can express his opinion? After all, it does say “Jump right in!” on the front page.”

Well, I don’t think that’s meant for *everybody*.

RE: What “legal eligibility proceedings”? Is this the latest Birther nonsense, or some other kind of goofball frivolous lawsuit?

Yes.

Last night Erickson was ranting on-air that the “GA judge should be impeached immediately” for this “dog and pony show”. And referring to people as “birthers” and “embarrassments” to the state of Georgia. What is it about this subject that just drives talk radio people into fits?

What drives them nuts is that they were all complicit in keeping it from the public four years ago. All of them from Rush right on down. They cannot have the people recognizing what they did.

Public school? It's clear you have been misinformed about the definition of a NBC, but don't worry. You have come to the right place to learn.

To be a NBC, both of your parents must be citizens at the time of your birth. Not one. Both.

According to him, his books and the various BCs he has released, little Barry's daddy was a Kenyan.

That's not to say his books were actually written by him or that the BCs he has released aren't fraudulent, but rather, it's what he has said.

Since the Constitution requires that the President must be a NBC, Barry isn't eligible to be President.

Are you as pissed as I am that we've been and are still being lied to about this?!?

Obama said he’d DO a lot of things. Hope, Change.. Low unemployment, jobs for everyone..

His record indicated he would be exactly what he is.

Records matter. Romney’s is that of a liberal. Not much different than Obama’s.

As long as you're just making stuff up, why not say he has to have blond hair and blue eyes?
