David Axelrod, Lefty Lumberjack
American Spectator ^ | March 2012 Issue | Paul Kengor

Obama's main man will do whatever it takes to fell Republicans and conservatives. Where does his ruthlessness and drive come from?

Getting Barack Obama elected president would be "something you could really be proud of for the rest of your life," said David Axelrod in January 2007, a month before the young Illinois senator proclaimed his candidacy. "It would really change politics in a positive way."

Axelrod, already an established political consultant, had in front of him a potential huge star, a game changer—a political advent. He saw in Obama a boy wonder, at once compelling, winsome, engaging, historic, spiritual, a hope-filled, hope-emanating "agent of change." The consultant had a candidate who could sail to the stars.

"...whatever it takes..."

Consider the tactics used in Obama's Illinois campaigns and then let that phrase percolate into your brain for a while. This is going to be one nasty election cycle.

It’s a pretty long article. I read the hard copy version as I subscribe to AmSpec. Axelrod & Obama are both marxists with a long line of marxist connections between them.

Certainly Obama was a perfect front, & the leftist media did everything possible to project him as a mildly liberal centrist. May they rot in h*ll for the damage they’ve done to this country!

Methinks you left out six letters from the last word in the title—”ing” after the “r” and “ass” after the “k”.

Please excuse my rant; the US has fought two world wars, the Korean war and the Viet Nam war at the behest of the US president. WW 1 & 2 the president told us that our way of life (capitalism) is in immediate threat of the spread of fascism. Korea and Viet Nam, we were told that we had to stop the spread of communism. At the times, the implications emanating from DC and the MSM was that US citizens will be enslaved if we do not engage in those wars. Today, it is beyond obvious that the current acting president and many elected officials in DC to include the obozo’s political adviser, Mr. Axlerod, take pleasure in the fact that they have succeeded in doing what military confrontations have not. This current administration and many in DC are so brazen about their objective to over throw capitalism by any means that they are bit by bit building government’s power to control any decent from the American people. This administration has gone to the extent of enlisting the US tax payers to fund Muslim fascist entities in the middle east and have the US military arm and defend many of those same factions of Muslim fascists that were our waring enemies under the previous president. Admittedly, the US capitolistic system is not perfect, it allows greed and corruption and can only succeed for everybody if the laws against the corrupting of the system are enforced. It is apparent that equal and swift enforcement of our laws ended years ago and that alone has allowed a war against the common citizen to emerge on our homeland from within. This war is not like the wars the US has fought in the past when the government relied on the enlistment and service of the common citizen but none the less, it is a war. This war is also against our way of life, it is eliminating our liberties and has placed us and generations to come in economic peril. Those common Americans who have died fighting in those previous national efforts to preserve our freedoms, capitolism and the US way of life obviously mean nothing to those in DC who strive for nothing more than to stay in political power.
