“Probably a lost art”.....more like a never gained art in my case. TC and Face can tell you, grammar and I are unacquainted.

I do the same thing with the seeds because it's hard to tell a weed from a seedling. Mostly because there isn't much difference. Even weeds can be seedlings. The bastards! LOL.

I wouldn't worry about the borage, just keep your eyes open for them when you see seeds for sale anywhere. Even if you have to keep them until next year...most of them will still grow.

I haven't done the dill, and I hadn't done the borage for about 4 years, but each type helps, and the more the better. If you got every one but borage, you're doing great!

Pfeh.
We had T-storms, too. It’s rather comedic that the powers-that-be claim to be able to predict the GW stuff but can’t accurately predict what’s gonna happen the next day.
Not complaining—in the desert, we were delighted when it rained. Our current surroundings would not be so lush and green were it not for the showers. As a former raisin, you have to know how many of us appreciate the rain. Additionally, I get to stay inside. Yahoo!

It did not rain here today, and things are supposed to clear up for the weekend, when Cub Scouts will be camping. Cub Scouts can’t sit in their tents drinking whiskey and playing cribbage when it rains, unlike my family on campouts.

Some of the most successful and creative people I’ve ever known seem to be unacquainted w/the “rules.” I’ve learned to attend to the matter rather than the manner. Laissez le bon temps roulez! (Sp?)

Yes, I am the multilingual spelling PO-lice!

On second thought, how about “Laissez le bon temp rouler?”

My spelling skills in languages I can’t even pronounce are legendary, and it’s unfair for you to be rolling just the one good time and not sharing!

Oh, good grief! My spanish is Puerto Riqueno, my Italian is street and college, and my Latin is third year high school. For heaven’s sake, I’m not in competition w/you. I respect your erudition/erudity/whatever you call it. My honorary Auntie taught me German which served me well since I was 18 mos old. She left for NJ when I was a toddler. She was a great inspiration for me. She actually liked having me around! She was a German gymnast and was qualifying for the Olympics when she became a war bride (WWII) and came to this country w/o knowing English. She went to work as a waitress in a local restaurant. She had muscles out the wazoo and taught me to become strong by carrying 5 lbs. of potatoes every day. She was definitely my favorite role model. Everyone should be so lucky!

P.S. Have you read Jonathan Kellerman’s “Savage Spawn”? I actually knew kids like this. When people talk about the innocence of Malaria and Sashimi, I want to bring this up. I’ll go away now.
See you tomorrow unless they come for me lol!

"Turn signals are considered a sign of weakness."

What is this "turn signal" you speak of? Is it anything like quiche?

Never use a preposition to end a sentence with.

Much fun had. We went for a luncheon to announce (we learned) the opening of a fundraising campaign to build a “children’s garden” at the site. A rich, old couple has pledged $2 million, and other donors (including us, in our small way ;-) are expected to match that. The luncheon was extremely nice, with excellent salads and free wine. All the rich, old people admired Kathleen.
