Well, it's simple.
Outlaw cigarettes! It's easier than outlawing stupidity. Because, of course, whenever something bad happens these days, we must outlaw something.

As a Vol fire Department heavy equipment operator (I operate the vehicles) this sounds kind of fun. a rip roaring Bon fire. No one hurt , no home destroyed.

I'm a smoker. There's a reason for those "No Smoking within 50 feet" signs.

I doubt that insurance covers your house if it burns down because you were storing hundreds of gallons of gasoline in your garage.

I remember buying Propane back a while ago. I went to a place that fills up tanks. The guy there, with long hair, and the rest, was a TOTAL chain smoker. Lit up one after another...
...but the minute we walked out to the pump, he was Mother Teresa - that cigarette was LONG GONE. Smart guy.

Cigarette Ignites 125 Gallons Of Gasoline Stored In Riverside GarageToo much Hollywood in the title. The spark produced while
lighting the cigarette had to have started the fire.
And it was probably from accumulated vapors in an enclosed space at that.
Flame on!

Smoking can kill you.
Those labels on cigarette packs should mention this as a possible means of demise.
