A Conservative History of the American Left - Daniel J Flynn. From the Pilgrims of Plimoth through the Clintons.

Russia Under the Bolshevik Regime - Richard Pipes. Currently in the chapter 'Communism, Fascism and National Socialism'; everything old is new again.

The Great Deformation - The Corruption of Capitalism in America - David Stockman. Somehow, I wound up with two copies. If anyone wants one, FReepmail me.

Currently ‘The Colonial Experience 1607-1774’, and ‘Phil Sheridan and his Army’ which is about Sheridan in the West, post Civil war.

Your ‘The Guns of August’ is a very good book.

“The Arms Of Krupp”, by William Manchester, detailing the history of Germany’s top arms manufacturer. Alfried Krupp was sentenced to 12 years for using slave labor. Sickeneningly, he, like many other Nazi pigs got out of jail early.

Slogging through War and Peace. It’s OK, but I’m not getting what’s so great about it. The Russians seem to be a very, very emotional people, that I will say.
