Apparently, the key to marital happiness is getting the woman to "calm down," according to the Department of Health and Human Services. I believe their exact wording was "stop getting hysterical".

“Relax” is a common word among rapists.

Well, I really can’t argue with it, despite the fact that I have my own PMS fits from time to time (it’s nature, baby).

Having been married three times, I'm somewhat of an expert on this subject.
Telling an angry woman to calm down is a good way to wake up in the hospital.
The best bet is to leave for a couple of years and see if she calms down on her own.

Happiness didn't change if the husband calmed down quickly It has been my experience that a man keeping calm in an arguement makes a woman even angrier.

I’m glad to hear you’re young enough to still have PMS.

(God thing you’re still innocent.)

Yes, women want get back the same level of emotional intensity that they’re putting out, to show you really care.

Generally celebrated by leaving the seat up, according to my man-card.

If you tell a hysterical woman to “calm down”, she will REALLY get pissed! Don’t they KNOW that?

The first good advice to ever come from HHS.

If he lost it every time I lost it, what have we accomplished? I know he loves me enough to weather my rare bout of insanity with grace, dignity, and humor. Of course, things are a whole lot calmer around our place now that we're done with menopause. :-)

And this is coming from the people that ran against Republican’s war on women.
