He’s a sinner as are we all. The disposition of his life beyond this world is due to his being forgiven those sins, nothing more, nothing less. That said, he has brought many souls to salvation. A job well done and a life well lived.
Yes, because they have to let go of their loved one....but only temporarily, and there is the great blessing for Christians.
I'll never forget the passing of my husband's grandfather a few years ago. He was so much at peace, and so ready to be with Jesus. God allowed him glimpses of what was to come, and he told us he couldn't even begin to describe what he was seeing....in fact, he didn't think he was supposed to do so. Being in that hospital room was like a miracle....even the doctors and nurses said so.
I can only imagine how much more that is the case with Billy Graham. I believe his family is receiving divine comfort even now.
Okay well um No. He’s going to Heaven no arguments.
Hopefully but I doubt it very much. Good thought, though.
My family went to see him at Mile High Stadium in Denver around 1983. It was awesome.
He’s a sinner as are we all. To disagree is to refute all Christian teaching.

Give it up. Billy’s going to Heaven and God bless him. He will be missed.
Amen.
There’s nothing to give up, Billy Graham himself would agree that he’s a sinner, only saved by the grace of God. I’d suggest a little more time with a Bible to honor this man you so clearly admire. His life has been worthy of admiration but that’s not what will be getting him to heaven. That would be the forgiveness of God for his sins, nothing more, nothing less. All have fallen short of the glory of God.
“Id suggest a little more time with a Bible to honor this man you so clearly admire”
I’d suggest a little more time with some eggnog to get you into the Christmas spirit. Rev Graham does not need me to get into Heaven.
Merry Christmas!!
No, he does not need you, or your approval of his works. He needs the forgiveness of God for his sins, as we all do. Billy Graham has professed his sins pardoned by God through the blood of Jesus Christ. I have no reason to doubt this profession and neither do you, but we don’t make that determination either, do we?
"I believe the time to be born and die is in GOD's hands. If it's my time to die I'm prepared. I don't know what the future holds but I know who holds the future. I was asked by a person today are you absolutely sure that you're going to heaven? I said I'm absolutely sure. Not because of anything I've done. I've sinned. I'm going to heaven because of what Christ did on that cross and the fact GOD raised Him from the dead. What about you? Is there a doubt in your heart that if you died this moment you'd go to heaven? Now is the accepted time today is the day of salvation. Come while you can."
“Private service and burial. Keeps away all the self-serving hypocrite politicians.”
I hardly think (with the exception of Obama) that any of the past Presidents going to the funeral would be self serving. All have known Billy Graham personally, and all have already had their day in the sun so no need for a self serving act.
Now I'm no celebrity, so no one important would show up at my funeral, but I've already arranged for my own sendoff to be private. No wake. A few words at the grave site and that's it. Anyone wants to pay respects, do it while I'm alive, not when I'm dead.
Godspeed Billy. Thanks for everything. See you soon.
