Never flew the P-40, but my Dad did, in addition to the P-39 and a few others he never bothered to mention.
Won’t try to speak for him regarding the plus/minus of any of those fine birds, but one point I’ll make without any doubt at all in my mind.
Dad flew ‘em all, but there was only one airplane that qualified as his True Love...
