All over the internet recently, sciFy vs. reality and a Mars satellite for petty cash:
That breaks the monopoly. Faced with the spectre of other nations publishing uncensored Mars images, NASA and JPL have started publishing some much more obvious images than they have in the past including a totally uncensored video (JPL) showing large-scale structure.
A few items...

She did. It involved lots of spinning in circles. I rescued her from it before she got too dizzy and hit her head on something.
Not having had any little girls (mine was 10 when I got her) I haven’t had the pleasure of seeing a mini-whirling dervishette.
It must have been a sight to behold!
A distant cousin of mine (according to my Mother he's far enough removed that 'we don't have to claim his if we don't want to') has a collection of old Jaguars...
Saying that should tell you all you need to know..:-)
“Do you have to do it in the kitchen?”
“Yes!”
I was concerned that it might be a ritual to summon more cats, but if it was, it didn’t work yet.
In other news, I went out to the garage freezer to look for some vegetables and discovered things were thawing. We moved the items to the freezer inside, and I’ll thaw it out while it’s empty, clean dust from the works, and hope it starts up again when it’s plugged in.
I suspect children had something to do with it.
I'm glad you got the reference. I like to think that I scored with a double word-play, both "frontier gibberish" and "medical frontier".
I have a devious and complicated mind. It bears close scrutiny.
47 points. You didn’t use a Z.
I need to defrost my freezer, too, but for now, it will have to wait until I get this living room back in shape. I feel like I’ve been living in semi-clutter for six months.
This has been a day, and that’s for sure. I thought I had saved everything to a flash drive, but maybe I didn’t. I will install the peripherals tomorrow, including my slave and see if that changes things. My brain is buzzing. Too much stuff going on every day this week.
Probably the best thing for me is to go to bed and see if Miss Sparkle will snuggle with my feet.
I was not happy with Shawn this morning. He is such a pessimist, and thinks he has to spread all his gloom and doom before he starts work. What a defeatist. *shudder*
Hope you have a good night with Sparkle!
I just put the byos and Kathleen to bed, after reading several pictures books and a few pages of “The Silmarillion.”
More likely the list of stuff that will get you on the "can't buy a gun" list.
The pills the doctor gave me yesterday are really ugly. The side-effects as listed were drowsiness and dizziness, but me? I get heavy eyelids and insomnia.
And I was up most of the night with chest pains. *sigh*
Today, I think I will do as little as possible, but one thing is for sure...I will call the doctor’s office and ask for something else. I’m SO tempted to use Ibuprofen...
That kitty looks like Bandit. A kitten my son had years ago.
Heavy eyelids and insomnia sounds a little weird. I suggest you do as little as possible!
Cold and sunny here again, might be in the 40s later. I’m going to Walmart in a few minutes, and then Jamie is really going to come and cut my hair!
I’ve called the doctor’s office. I think the pills are an opium derivative because that’s what opium does to me. Morphine, I can take. Opiates, no.
I’m not willing to have heavy eyelids, no sleep and pain for the next six days. Doc is in surgery today, but the gal will see if she can get in touch with him. Good luck on that.
So I’m taking things easy, and not taking these pills. There is no percentage in it.
Ouch, that's harsh!
Hi.
Lovely kitteh. Face looks like one of my angel girls, same stripes, same little M on the forehead.
Just wanted to say hi. Offline the last couple of days, the cld weather is causing some issues. going back offline again. Take care of yourselves dear ladies, and your kittehs.
6 country songs in 2014 that sound nearly identical.
Talk about music by formula... this one must have been focus-grouped to death. There is no creativity going on here.

even the timing and emphasis changes are close to identical.
I know of one that wouldn't sound like all the rest.
Now if we can just get T-c to sing it.
I recognize all those titles from the radio, but I’ve changed the station every time. We usually play Broadway or metal in the van.
I’m still working on the melody to “Fearsome Nerdy Natter.”
Evening, everyone. I hope it’s going to be a nice weekend for all of you. We have cold-and-sunny forecast, with rain starting Monday. I don’t know why Elen told me it was going to be warm!
This morning when I went to get Kathleen from the gym nursery, I called, “Kathleen, it’s time to go!” She came running over, gave me the stink-eye, and said, “I’m Anna!” (The 4-year-old she was playing with must have been Elsa.) “If you want to be Anna, that’s fine with me, but let’s get your coat on.” “But that’s Kathleen’s coat!” she said. “Anna didn’t bring her coat, so she’ll just have to wear Kathleen’s.”
We succeeded in getting Anna into Kathleen’s coat, and by the time we got home, she was Kathleen again.
