I like Jasmine Rice. Googled her. She seems nice. I'm sure I would like her too.

Sweet Mother of Pete. You are going to buy something to get rice out of a bag.
Why don’t you send me one of those piles of money that are in your way, Mr Rothschild Von Gotrocks III?

What kind of dog polish does it use. Can it polish cats too?

Had one when we lived in Japan. Very handy until they attract bugs.
The problem can be avoided by putting bay leaves in your rice, as we learned later. They actually make the rice a little tastier, believe it our not.

See what I mean? You can see each individual tooth! She can be ‘maintained’ at a low boil for hours!

Iused to use uncle Ben's. I have since discovered basmati rice and have never bought the avuncular variety again. Converted simply means parboiled, which you are paying extra for. A ten pound bag of basmati rice goes for around $10 for a good quality label, half the cost of the uncle's rice. and it tastes better too.

How is it Ive lived 57 years and never have heard of a rice dispenser before? We have several of them in our house, in various sizes. We like them so much, we even have pet names for them. We call them "spoons".

I use Basmati Rice too, and I get it from a similar dispenser.

seems like if you need a rice dispenser, then you’ll need a premeasured water dispenser also....and many other things ad infinitum. Dont forget the charmin on your tushie!

Ah, but it internet accessible? In a current thread about useless kitchen gadget on usenet’s rec.food.cooking, there was a link to a refrigerator egg storage unit that you could remotely query to see if you might need to pick up more eggs while you’re shopping.
Really, you just never know if you’re going to need to pick up tens of pounds more rice while you’re out shopping as well.

Never thought about rice. Have taped a bay leaf to the underside of the lid of a flour canister though.
