Time has always perplexed the human race. Weve tried to define it, track it, and measure it since the emergence of civilization. However, facts like these listed here show us how distorted our perception of time can be and how much we still need to learn about the fourth dimension.

I was thinking that old Japanese gal could probably show a guy a few things.
(lol!)
Yes it is.
Time is nature’s way of preventing everything from happening at once.
I had no idea some whales lived that long....
We haven’t learned very much in the last 5 decades, have we?
We’ve raised treason to a fine art - and rewarded it.
The one that most surprised me was the Stegosaurus/T-Rex comparison. All those dinosaurs typically just get lumped into the same spot.
The funniest is Will Smith’s age. Hubby and I often remark how, anytime the 1990’s are mentioned, we automatically think “oh, that was 10 years ago.” Uhhh... nope!

With some nice fractals to go with it! LOL!
That’s a big if.
The pyramids were already old when Abraham visited Egypt.
I thought that would contain facts about time. My mind is still intact.
They missed the coolest thing about time. Our perception of time slows when we feel danger. A scientist gave people a wrist device with a 3 digit LED repeating number on it. However a random changing patterned flashed most of the time and it was impossible to read the number.
Once the scientist verified that they could not read the number he pushed them backwards off a 30 or so foot ledge with a large net to catch them. He asked them to try and read the numbers on the way down. Everyone was able to read the number on the way down. Even though they assumed the fall was safe, their adrenaline spiked and their heart-rates increased. They experienced fear and their sense of time slowed.
I experienced the same thing during a motorcycle accident (my bike slid out from underneath me, rainy day and I braked to hard, bad decision on my part). As I was flipping along the ground I wondered why the flips were taking so long, I was analyzing how to not hurt myself more I had to and watched a car drive by. During the middle of a flip I got mad because the passengers turned their heads to watch the accident and were not stopping. I actually shot them a bird during one of my flips.
The pyramids were hundreds of years old when Abraham saw them.
It was quite easy to do, once I got out of that burlap bag!
