Question: A friend of mine has been reading the Left Behind books that have all of this stuff about the Rapture in them. Is there really going to be a Rapture like these books talk about?
Answer: No.The Rapture refers to a passage in First Thessalonians 4, where Christians are caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Many Christians believe, and the Left Behind books promote, that this being caught up to meet the Lord will occur before the Great Tribulation sometime in the near future. Christians will simply vanish, meet Jesus somewhere in the air, and then return with Him to Heaven to await the end of time.

All this other stuff-- a 1000 year reign of Christ on earth, the rebuilding of the temple, etc-- is an unbiblical mish-mash of OT and NT passages taken out of context. This doctrine was only invented in the 1860's and is only believed by a tiny but vocal percentage of Christians, mostly here in the US.
He has promised to protect those that keep his commandments in a place that he has prepared for us “in the desert.”
The trib is all about Satan’s wrath toward Yehova’s elect. So if you think you are his elect, you should expect some tribulation.
Scripture clearly tells us through Paul's letters that God has not appointed us unto wrath, but to obtain Salvation. 1Thess4:13-18 is a clear picture of a super natural event. You won't want to be an earthling a minute after it happens. And it happens BEFORE the seventieth week of Daniel's prophecy, to end the Church Age and usher in the last week of sabbatical years in God's dealing with the Jews.
The rapture (harpazo in Greek, rapturo in Latin) will be a world-wide phenomenon. And those who proclaim as Peter did in Matthew 16:16 are the ones who will be whisked away. And then the Tribulation begins.
Don’t try to reason with the Anti-Rapturists with ACTUAL SCRIPTURES!
All they’ll do is twist it and either give you the standard Preterist or Post-Trib argument.
John 14:1-3 is this event also ;)

A deliberately antagonizing, but totally foolish declaration!
The 1000 year reign is about the most supported facet of prophecy. Only the resurrection at the last trump is better covered.

In that section of Matthew’s Gospel record Jesus is addressing Jews under the Jewish compact written about in Daniel’s weeks. The reference to wheat and tares refers to what occurs at the end of the Tribulation, not before it starts, as the Rapture will happen with the Church, under the covenant with the Bride, before the tribulation period dealing with the close of the covenants with the Jews.
Um, so this salesman wrote the many passages in Paul’s letters which focus Christians upon the Rapture?
But the word ‘harpazo’ is found in many passages, the Greek word translated from Greek to Latin as rapturo, from ‘rapto’.
Paul’s letters totally demolish your bizzare theory.
Writing to the Thessalonians, he declares that the man of sin must come first, then we are resurrected at the END of the trib.
Then the wrath comes for 10 days, then after that the ultimate Yom Kippur war begins. That is when we return to Earth with Yeshua and his angels to crush the beast’s armies, and end the governments of men.
I thought both are harvested at the same time, and separated, the tares in bundles to be burned at the wheat in heaps to be winnowed.
Read Mark 13:32, Matthew 24:31, Matthew 24:42, Luke 12:40, and Matthew 24:37-39 specifically details a normal daily routine when HE returns. If what you say is true, then life will hardly be “normal” during a tribulation type “rapture”.
Does that sound like we’ll have to go thru the “Trib”?
How many times can you count 1,000 in these verses?
Revelation 20:2-7
God chose the descendants of Abraham to evangelize the world. They will finally get around to it during the seventieth week of Daniel's prophecy. Interestingly, the bastard son of Abraham will be doing the devilment during that time, trying to wipe out the evangelists. Hagar's boy is a wild man, blood thirsty, and full of devilish zeal to match the zeal of the 144,000 evangelizing Jews during that seven years.
Take your Michael Rood devilment and dwell on it until you learn to fear the Lord. That is the beginning of wisdom, a thing which your little demigod liar Michael Rood has no clue of. You are of your father, a murderer from the start.
He doesn’t, don’t fall for this nonsense.
True Saved Christians are the Bride of Christ. While we may suffer persecution, He will never allow us to be judged with the children of disobedience.
Christ cannot judge Himself since we are born of the spirit, it’s like saying He’s judging Himself by allowing us to go thru the Trib.
What are the strengths and weaknesses of the pretribulational view of the rapture (pretribulationism)?

Would you be so helpful, dear one, to post the truth about this false propheteer, Michael Rood? I don’t keep files on devils.
That speaks how suddenly it happens. Somehow, somebody decided to insert the word “secret” next to rapture which is not the case.
Excellent website!

The correct term is Gorignaks
I agree!
A gold mine worth of knowledge!
