What is so hard about building a border fence? It's just like building a highway. BUILD ONE.

If it’s a sheer cliff 100 feet high, sure.

Heres the thing. Any non complete fence acts as a funnel.

If you build a complete fence, the dems cant use eco law like they did in AZ to put land off limits to Americans and simply allow free access to illegals. A full fence is more to stop Dems than illegals really. But it works on both.

Plus, after 6 billion bucks, few will allow that to be wasted tearing it down.

You do realize that highway system took like 50 years to finish right. Also the parts of the wall we’ve built got circumvented within a week. China’s Great Wall took centuries to build, technically isn’t done yet, and failed completely.

Let’s have a contest. The FReeper who submits the best design wins!!

We should move all of our armored desert training grounds to south Arizona. Buy up the land from the ranchers and make it a free fire zone.

At least will be able to quickly answer the continued threats and attacks coming out of Mexico.

I think that there is a significant portion of the voters in BOTH PARTIES which have had it up to here with people in both parties, selling out America.

Sending American jobs to China, to Mexico, everywhere else.

Letting in illegal immigrants, by the millions.

All of this, is just shortcutting what we used to do in America, which is build stuff, and grow.

These people of both parties selling out America are a very, very big problem.

Patriotic Americans with both parties, need to stand up for our own country, for a change.

America first.

Stop selling off America’s assets.

Trump is saying we need to bring back jobs, to America. We have been selling off America’s assets now for over an entire generation.

I completely agree with him.

Completely.

Because the groups that run this country and control Washington like cheap Mexican labor

You're on to something there. The GOPe contributors like the cheap labor. The Democrats like the guaranteed (D) voters. No one in power has any interest in changing the current situation.

But when you think of it, two simple laws would do the trick. One, no government benefits except to US citizens. And two, make it a crime to hire anyone who is not here legally. Put repeat violators in jail. Don't just fine them.

But wait...those laws might offend someone. They're very non-PC. And jingoistic. So forget I said anything.

Without the state, who will build the border fences?

Oh, wait...

What’s puzzling to me is Perry leveled some pretty serious criticism against Trump and, instead of Trump trashing Perry (as he has done with every other critic of him) he tweeted how much he liked Perry. Why is that?

He has to have Texas. He can probably get Florida because of all the New Englanders that moved there.

Exactly. Try to imagine something like that being passed by two jackanapes without throwing up.

If fences don’t work at keeping people out, why does the White House have one that it is making even more impenetrable?

Oh, that’s so much BS.

One only has to look to places where the interstate system goes (think of I-70 west of Denver going though Glenwood Canyon, except for pillars, it doesn’t touch the ground for miles) to see what motivated men can do.

Donald hires motivated men.

Just because there is challenging terrain does not mean you cannot have an effective barrier and border control

How are you going to erect barriers on natural, 50-100 ft high cliffs and a river 20 feet wide?

You can build one from California to the Rio Grande but that’s as far as you can go.

What in the world is so difficult about building a border fence?

...

Nothing. The government doesn’t want to stop illegal aliens. That’s the problem.

Imagine this country trying to send manned aircraft to the moon nowadays. It just wouldn’t happen. America isn’t the same country it was all those years ago.

How are you going to go to the moon or build Hoover dam or the Golden gate bridge?
