Carson is not my guy, but you are a clown. It was a perfectly reasonable answer.
It is a transcript of his interview and there is a video at the site. Those who are screaming about the source seem to be over looking that fact.

But when you hate them and want to, you know, slant the news against them, you leave in the kind of stuff, that you know will make them look bad. you know?
FWIW- have you ever read the various ramblings of Abraham Lincoln— you know, the hero of the republican party? Lincoln was not wrapped too tight, is thought to have been a severe bi-polar, said by his law partner to have had syphilis(which did not go away,remained dormant and uncured),took “blue mass” pills(commonly used in those days to control constipation and for syphilis— containing 33% mercury)which he used continuously probably becoming mercury poisoned- flying into rages and rambling talk.
That’s just a start of a “hero” President. Not a Carson supporter, however, the man is a neurosurgeon- methodical, planning, exacting and deep in thought. Not nuts— except to really stupid people. His “rant” made sense— we should not just “react” like animals do (a put down of the stupid chattering classes, btw) but have the wisdom of planning. To get it done. Including the confidence to enforce a no fly zone with the Russians. Simple enough, and logical. Do what you say and what you mean. Reagan did this... a lot.
The more I hear about his statements the more I’m backing away from him. Something doesn’t seem right with him. Just saying.

Carson shares this particular idea with Kasich, Bush, Rubio, Fiorina, Christie, Graham and Clinton. IMHO it's a stupid idea. So if this makes Carson an inexperienced idiot then it makes all of them inexperienced idiots.

Yes. His mistake was to accord the reporter far more respect than he deserved.
I don’t disagree with that. It is just that this idiot is polling high with folks who are obviously unaware of his positions.
He was being interviewed by Chris Wallace. The reporter only printed the transcript.
