I am sorry to have to announce this but I will not be on Tonight or any other night, yes I am going to hang it up. Whoever this crazy person is, they are not stopping and it has come to the point that we as a Family do not feel it is worth the risk. While I think the person or persons are after me, my Wife and now my Daughter are really scared, the other night after the latest incident my Daughter was off in the corner of her bed scared to death as the Police cars came screaming up. I will not put my Family through this. As you all know I dearly love what I do but not at the expense of never ending Terrorism. I want to thank those of you who have shown so much support and it has been my joy, short as it has been to have cracked that Mic open for a last time. This was a Family decision. The girls stuck with me and still would but if one of them were harmed because of what I love doing my life would be over.

On YouTube or Internet. I just have to have late night radio. Hoagland is just so-so as far as I’m concerned. Just damn, it was great having Art back. Did hear the night when shots were fired outside his house and the crazy guy hiding outside his broadcast building on his property. Kinda scary in this day. And yes, Art said he is well armed.

Hoagland always came across to me as a complete fake.
I listen to Art for other reasons. He is a consummate interviewer, with a very organized and discriminating mind. You had to listen for awhile, to figure out whether he was taking the guest seriously, or politely tolerating him/her.
After awhile, you could tell.

You are exactly right. That was the fun of listening to Arts show. Kooky or not subjects, his broadcast was good.

I think the facts that you are boring and your primary guest, “Major” Ed Dames, is a fake might be two reasons for calling it quits.
If you want safety, then move to a big city, get a local radio job and do what we all do: be safe and have military friends.
My favorites were the Hallowe’en shows, the ‘ghost to ghost’ ones.
Almost everyone has either experienced something odd regarding death, or has a family story of an odd experience. Without ever declaring a particular opinion or position, Art seemed to be very interested in what some of those stories might be telling us.

Shadow people was another good topic.
Art Bell was good on ‘Coast to Coast’. I loved listening to him when I worked the graveyard shift. Now WFLA has repeats of Art Bell’s shows, which is called ‘Somewhere in Time’.

Yes, I got confused with the names but I remember Michael Jackson also. Both in their 80s now.
I never really got the ‘shadow people’ stuff.
(Though, when I was a kid, there was a strangely shaped shadow that seemed to live in a hallway of the house, and sort of bothered me...;-) And there were carvings in a burnt-wood table that my folks had, that looked sort of ‘gargoyle-ish’, and they bothered me too. I chalk it all up to childhood, and imagination.)
I especially liked the speculative science stuff, on Art’s show - and the psi and ghost stuff.

On Hoaglands show recently he had a guest who was talking about a terrorist attack (Paris or San Berdo I don’t know) and said that less people would’ve died if one or more people had been armed. Hoagland interrupted him “No! No! No! That’s not true!” And his guest who had been walking on eggshells with Hoagland all night finally just set him straight quite bluntly. “Oh yes it is!” It was great to hear that pompous ass get put in his place.
Yeah.
He’s figured out a great ‘career-line’.

They were good, but my favs were having to do with ESP - remote viewing and other dimensions. Especially other dimensions. Art we are going to miss ya.

...how old is the kid...A grade school kid or so age kid. Second marriage. His home is easily found in Parhump. I don’t blame him. There is some dangerous stuff going on now days. Maybe Noory will let him do weekends. However, he fired the last weekend guy who had better ratings than him.
I appreciate the corrections. I thought that Art had some older offspring living with him. My bad.....
