This is one of my favorite Orchestral Music pieces of all time. I know every note of this.
I found this to be a particularly lovely version, and the camera work highlighting the members of the orchestra is nice too!

Wow! This one of the youngest orchestras that I have ever seen. Amazing!

Yes, they are very young. That may be a contributing factor to the incredible FRESHNESS they bring to this old Classic.
Enjoy! :-)

Since I know the score, I am having the most delightful time watching the fingers play the notes!
Look how many young ladies there are, some playing nontraditional instruments for girls (like the Double Bass).
I also like the two “modern” instruments, the tenor sax! Yikes...It’s WONDERFUL! :-)

My Pleasure.
I think we all need some of this during this turbulent election cycle.

A lovely piece. Unfortunately, while the music is playing I have The Man With One Red Shoe running in my mind. ;-)

Rimsky and Korsakov are two of my favorite composers. (ducking)
To: Twotone
Maybe I am lucky to have not seen that movie! LOL!
(Does it use this for the background score?)

The Moldau link there is another fine performance. I always loved that piece.

I recommend the following classic performances:
1. Kondrashin/Concertgebouw, Philips
2. Reiner/Chicago, RCA
3. Beecham/Royal Philharmonic, EMI
4. Ansermet/L’Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, Decca
5. Fedoseyev/USSR Radio & TV Symphony Orchestra, Melodiya
I have also heard about 25 other versions that are not as good as these.
