Donald Trump has made yet another announcement that will dismay Democrats across the country, and that is his choice for Attorney General. Trump tweeted that his pick for Attorney General is South Carolina conservative Rep.
Trey Gowdy, who currently chairs the U.S. House of Representative’s Select Committee on Benghazi. ..snip..

Is Gowdy still for Rubio?
NO. Trey is a Talker, not a Fighter.
Once he makes an announcement, he doesn’t have to stick to it. Did you ever change your mind?
I don’t think so. I want to see more evidence.
As far as I’m concerned, Gowdy outed himself earlier in the primary process, supporting the RINO (whichever one it was).
His investigations have been nothing but Kabuki theater - just like Darryl Issa’s. Lots of talk but of no consequence.
Find someone NOT in the government for the position.
I’d rather see Chris Christie as an AG. He is not as conservative as some but the guy fights and appears loyal to Trump
Is this the same Trey Gowdy that has spent a career “investigating” Ben Gazy.
I hope and expect he’ll pick a tough prosecutor and no politician of any kind.

That was back when we were fooled by him. Since then he still hasn’t avenged the Bengazi murders and he endorsed Rubio. F him.

Number two Gowdy has proven to be useless on his so called pursuit of Hillary.

Gowdy had his chance and did nothing. NOTHING. He’s complicit with Obama, Clinton, et al.
Works for me. Sometimes I think he’s being soft on hillary and the IRS but overall he seems to have done alright.
I totally agree. Trust and loyalty are key personality traits to Trump. Christies is also a pragmatist as is Trump.
I don’t trust GowdyGowdy. I think he’s actually an empty suit opportunist. All talk, no action.
