Well......the kid is a good citizen. He needs some maturing, but he's got a good foundation. I think the parents are doing a fine job, so far.
LOL

If you’re going to do that Soviet thing, at least know about 311 instead of 911.

But it is in keeping with the teachings of the Hitler Youth:
” One case involved a teenaged HJ member named Walter Hess who turned in his father for calling Hitler a crazed Nazi maniac. His father was then hauled off to the concentration camp at Dachau under Schutzhaft (protective custody). For setting such an example, Hess was promoted to a higher rank within the HJ. “

I’d actually be proud of my kid if he did that to me.
After I calmed down.

A little hall monitor in training.
When I was his age (and a little older) I was exhorting my dad to drive as fast as possible.

Or, for folks who don’t like the HJ/BDM, let’s not forget the story of the Soviet martyr Pavlik Morozov. He denounced his father to the authorities, and the father was sentenced to 10 years hard labor. (His father ended up not having to serve the full sentence, as he was executed before the 10 years were up). Pavlik’s uncle, grandfather and grandmother were also executed.
Of course, someone might want to tell the boy in the story what happened to Pavlik.

Pavel Trofimovich Morozov (Russian: Па́вел Трофи́мович Моро́зов; 14 November 1918 3 September 1932), better known by the diminutive Pavlik, was a Soviet youth praised by the Soviet press as a martyr. His story, dated to 1932, is that of a 13-year-old boy who denounced his father to the authorities and was in turn killed by his family. His story was a subject of reading, songs, plays, a symphonic poem, a full-length opera and six biographies. The cult had a huge impact on the moral norms of generations of children, who were encouraged to inform on their parents.[1]
