Fan throws very wild first pitch, hits photographer right in his family jewels area.
Fortunately, the photographer is ok and is now laughing about it online, where he is a new celebrity.

Well, if you throw balls around long enough, eventually someone is going to get it in the nutsack...

YUP..... glad it never happened to me, though. My baseball career was tragic enough without that.....
jk I was a Little League superstar at 11 yrs of age, but didn’t last at higher levels of competition.

Some of the 1967 Red Sox team behind him. Could see some of them start chuckling.

No-win situation. Put it over or near the plate, and very few will remember. Be wild, and it’s on Youtube forever.

rofl that is really horrible... in a funny way
If I were ever invited to throw out a first pitch in a MLB stadium, I damn well would practice a lot for days beforehand..... not that I expect to have that opportunity!

I used to play in numerous leagues in softball.
Usually catcher or 1st base.
Had a pretty accurate arm.
At 37, I finally quit my last team.
Ten years later, at a carnival, I do a throwing game.
I thought everything would be near the same.
After 3 throws I was wondering whose arm I had on, cause it sure didn’t FEEL like mine.
The old familiar feel wasn’t there.
No matter how I concentrated on the throw, the mechanics weren’t there.
After 6 balls, I felt my shoulder and elbow were trying to pull themselves apart.
If I ever were to throw a pitch at a game, I think I’d start throwing 2 weeks ahead of time.
15-20 feet to start

Funny, I’ve played every position many times in both baseball and softball over the years.... EXCEPT catcher! Just never had the slightest interest in playing catcher..... I guess I’m a wimp.

yeah, now at 57 yrs old if I try to throw anything I feel like my shoulder is going to fall off.... never had any specific damage that I am aware of, but my shoulder sure doesn’t want to let me throw anymore. Maybe if I tried to work back to it gradually, I don’t know, but it doesn’t seem to be “there”....

Never had any interest in playing bazeball (bad childhood).
Knees would kill me trying to squat like a catcher. I could crunch the ball, few times I played in school PE.
