The glamorous face of Queen Nefertiti, who could have been the mother of King Tutankhamun, has been brought to life using the latest 3D imaging technology.
It took 500 hours to recreate the bust and the jewellery was even handcrafted by designers from Dior.
However, the colour of the 3,400-year-old queen's skin has raised controversy with people claiming she would not have been so fair in real life.

Nefertiti: Resurrected (2003)
It’d hit back!
Egyptians were a mixed up society—race had no meaning for them. As long as you spoke Copt (the language of Egypt) worshiped one of the 3,000 gods of Egypt, respected cats—you were OK. All who drank from the Nile were considered countrymen. So, some kings were black, some white, but most were brown. They would find the Africa centered ideas wrongheaded— without Maat (a word that stands for order, justice, ballance, the way things should be—the Egyptian way that was the best known to the universe).
Egyptians domesticated baboons and trained them to clime trees and pick dates,
Cleopatra was genetically a Greek, but she spoke Copt (Egyptian) worshiped Egyptian Gods, hired Egyptians, and became “the living Isis” (a goddess). She was beloved by the Egyptians. So, color of skin didn’t really count for much with them.
Yes I do know but as 1970 was the start of time he stupid Earth Day which ushered in such idocy as both and have infested all areas of our society by the Wizards of Smart!
Again, this is nationality vs ethnicity. Race had little meaning for most people back them I’m sure. But when we think of “Egyptian”, we have a certain image in our mind. Much like an Englishman, or a Frenchman. Those are not ethnicities, but I’m sure you picture a Frankish, Gallic or Anglo Saxon. ie there are blacks in Britain, but there are no black Britons.
The reconstructed face reminds me so much of some current movie actress, but i don’t remember the name. Anyone else have that idea?
Wouldn’t she be flattered to know that she may resemble the most famous beauty in world history.
Jessica Biel?
Lady Gaga?

Her bone structure doesn’t look too black.
Get serious. This current movie actress is a reincarnation of that bust and probably will have the mummy of Imhotep guarding her from Harvey Weinstein
Using actress, bust, and Harvey Weinstein in the same sentence just seems wrong. ;’)
