Chelsea Clinton took inspiration from the Duchess of Cambridge for how to manage the birth of her first child, a new book claims
She and her aides 'studied' how the British royal family had handled the birth of Prince George in 2013 in order to prepare for her own first baby, who was born a year later.
Bill and Hillary Clinton's only daughter Chelsea, as well as her staff, noted how press was handled and how the Duchess of Cambridge handled herself, and used it as a template for themselves, the book claims.
The claim suggests that Chelsea saw herself as an equal to the Duchess of Cambridge, meaning that the Clintons were the American equivalent of the British royal family.
The comparison was made in the new book Chasing Hillary: Ten Years, Two Presidential Campaigns and One Intact Glass Ceiling, written by New York Times journalist Amy Chozick.
Chozick covered Clinton for a both her Presidential campaigns and her gossipy memoir is full of salacious details about the failed Democratic candidate and her family.
She writes that in Spring 2014 she went to the premiere of 'Of Many', a documentary short that Chelsea Clinton had produced, and noticed how far she had come as her own person.
Earlier that day, Chelsea had announced that she and her husband Marc Mezvinsky were expecting their first child, Charlotte.
Chozick marveled at how Chelsea had blossomed into an adult and how she had 'flowing straight hair and a permanent strawberry glow'.
The reality was that she went to expensive hairdresser and got keratin treatments to look good, according to the book.

If only her father were alive to see what he and Hillary created...
What kind of human being feels the need to "manage the birth" of their kids? I'm assuming that means "manipulate for public relations" or "make it turn the spotlight on me in a positive way."
Whatever. It's such a bizarre way of looking at your babies. All I wanted to do was go home and hold them and look at them and (Freeper mothers will understand this) smell them. :)
Good god... studies Brit fat farting potentates to see how SHE, as an American royal should act. Laughable.
Poor Chelsea. You can’t pick your parents. We’re so used to seeing the kids that let the parents down...here it is vice versa. Let the poor girl alone to slip quietly into the background. I hope “the parents” aren’t pressuring the girl to run for politics.
Kate and Chelsea.
One of these things is not like the other.
ROFLMAO!!
Thank You!!
Yeah, she’s rich. But you KNOW she’s miserable.Until she runs for office, I think we should leave that poor girl alone.
Darn! You beat me by 12 minutes.
She did, did she?
So, we have Chelsea to blame for all the rainbow pantsuits?
A face transplant?
I don’t like the clintons and I don’t like chelsea... but reading one comment after another on here ... attacking her on personal looks ... born that way and stuck with it.... I know they ask for it when they print things like this article... but you guys are hard!
I think Her aides studied Mr.Ed
There is no question but that Princess Diana did the Windsor blood line a lot of good.
welcome...
Nobody glows.........BADDA BOOK BADDA BOOM!!
She has hilliary and Webb Hubble genes- she has hilliary’s sense of entitlement, and none of bill clinton’s political savvy.
Hahahaha!
Oh, and it worked SO WELL!!! NOT!!!
What I thought when she came out of the hospital, was, oh, she copied Kate’s dress — but Kate’s dress was blue because she had a BOY and Chelsea gave birth to a GIRL — utter fail.
And it was obvious Chelsea’s stylist had overlooked Kate’s purpose in choosing her dress, which was actually done using THOUGHT, and Chelsea just copied it.
She writes that in Spring 2014 she went to the premiere of ‘Of Many’, a documentary short that Chelsea Clinton had produced, and noticed how far she had come as her own person.

My, what a coincidence! /s
