Hey LT did you get a chance to read that article from inside the nursing home here? Their procedures would shock you.

CPAPs and nebulizers were used to treat pre-pneumatic patients with this virus.

I want to thank you for these threads. You are helping us all keep well informed so we can have much better information to make decisions about how to prepare, and when to socially distance ourselves.

Also, those of us who have family in various parts of the affected areas can keep up to date on the risks they are facing. It is so much better to know, than to wonder, then worry.

We have very few cases in the USA--the dead are mostly from that single nursing home near Seattle from those elderly patients with already serious medical conditions.

Since SARS-CoV-2 causes what amounts to a bad cold in much healthier people, this whole crisis has past the point of yellow journalism over-reaction. 😠👎

What makes me nervous is that Italy is seeding our country with patient zero's all over the place (largely because President Trump refused to act mind you). And there death rate is very high compared to most countries.

There are two strains of this virus, S and L. I can't recall which one offhand is the more deadly, but one of them is far more deadly, and it might be that Italy has the more deadly strain and it's the country being allowed to see the United States.

Well it is in my state now (Pennsylvania). My invalid mother does not know yet, but will get worried. I will have to be extra careful not to make her sick... Worried about that, as I am her caregiver and only person who sees her except for 2-4 doc visits a year.
