As racial reckoning occurs across the country following the death of George Floyd, many Confederate statues -- which some consider racist symbols of America's dark legacy of slavery -- have been removed.
Now, statues of Christopher Columbus, another controversial figure in US history, are also being taken down. There have been three reports of Christopher Columbus statues being tampered with -- one thrown into a lake, one beheaded, and another pulled to the ground.

As useless as police (mayors) have been in protecting anything these days, what good would it do except for historical purpose?
Then they will erase all history and memory of slavery.

It was one of the most infuriating, depressing, and horrible experiences of my life. Why? Class was akin to being in a racist/Communist "reeducation" camp. The rhetoric and propaganda from the "professor" was hateful, and full of damnable lies.
It was evil.
Decades of this garbage have come to fruition.
Did we really expect this kind of poison to not fester?

This is not about the civil war of black lives(if it was then why are we not hearing about the slaughter of blacks by blacks in Chicago and Baltimore and others?) This is about eliminating the History of America so that it can be rewritten by the democratics to their views. Their wanting slavery for instance, erase it. Going to war to preserve slavery erase it. Then create and teach something different change history change the country. Schools are either not teaching American history of their teaching lies.
One reason why they hate Columbus is that he discovered the place and Europeans made the long voyage and stayed. Europeans are mostly Christian. They hate him for bringing Christianity.
“Native Americans” enslaved other Native Americans and some held Black slaves.

Some if not many of the Columbus statues were a reaction to anti-immigration sentiment in the country and anti-Italian sentiment in particular. Think of it like “You are anti-immigration, well, what about Columbus?”.
I’m Italian and I live in New York City. That statue is 75 ft tall and weighs God knows how much. They would need machinery and at this point I wouldn’t doubt that happening. But plenty of Italians would show up. We were going to last time if the Blasio tried to move it
If it were allowed I would go there to fight not to protest. I would go there to damage the people trying to take it down

These libs and blacks refuse to see how they’re constantly getting their way, including very public pronouncements by various venues. Just how often do they see even a sedate counter-PC statement?
We told you Yankees it would not be just rebel “Confederate” statues. But anyone should’ve seen that after the narrative drumbeat of the last 30 years.
