Multiple intel sources: Baltimore bridge collapse was an “absolutely brilliant strategic attack” on US critical infrastructure

Multiple intel sources: Baltimore bridge collapse was an “absolutely brilliant strategic attack” on US critical infrastructure - most likely cyber - & our intel agencies know it. In information warfare terms, they just divided the US along the Mason Dixon line exactly like the Civil War.

Second busiest strategic roadway in the nation for hazardous material now down for 4-5 years - which is how long they say it will take to recover. Bridge was built specifically to move hazardous material - fuel, diesel, propane gas, nitrogen, highly flammable materials, chemicals and oversized cargo that cannot fit in the tunnels - that supply chain now crippled.

Actually it appears to be a perfect storm of woke and incompetence.

Well no...once they actually clear the bridge debris from the channel, shipping can resume until they need to work on the center span of the new bridge. Theoretically that could be within weeks.

This is true. There are multiple routes.

But the port is blocked; that alone affects trade.

Some think the ship was hacked.

Occam’s razor would suggest the ship’s power was interrupted causing a loss of steering and control, allowing it to veer off course.

The video shows just that.

“Should have had a harbor pilot to pilot the boat. You are not supposed to traverse any obstacles without the harbor pilot.”

Yes, the ship should have had a harbor pilot and did have a harbor pilot.

Too bad there are not any east coast ports north or south of Baltimore.

4-5 years to repair.

meanwhile, japan would have it up and running within a month.

Seeing the video on national nrws at 0530, while eaiting to start my scheduled dialysis treatment, and then once home, watching it again on y’tube, it looked very fishy.

A model railroad enthusiast could do a comparable srt-up eithout loss of life and property.

Lights oon, lights out, oops, lights on, thunk!

Somebody just profited some engineering/construction work, somebody profited a shipment insurance claim, a city garnered an unsafe bridge litigation and a slew of wrongful death suits, and OH MY YES, monkeyed a major traffic artery, a port channel, and an engineering feat of offloading conex’s from that ship, where she sits at the sveme og the accident!

Tho’ I seem a scalawag, those folks so taken away by this FUBAR, I put my hat to my heart in sorrow.

The Deep State has lied about virtually everything else for the last 5 years.

That makes it kinda’ hard when they say “ nothing to see here “.

“From what you’ve heard”?!? Why isn’t that “from what we KNOW”? Someone just has to ask and then tell us.
Doesn’t it concern you that nearly 24 hours after the “accident” we haven’t asked the people on board what happened? I’m hearing “bad fuel”, the pilot put the boat in the wrong gear”, the crew was sleepy, turned on auto pilot (which malfunctioned) and went to bed while in the harbor, etc. What have you heard that makes more sense than those ridiculous speculations. Again, why don’t we ask the guy behind the wheel?

I had a wreck once. Guess what the first thing the cop asked me was? Yep, you got it. He asked me what happened and I told him. He didn’t call in accident “experts” to guess and tell him.

Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar, until the load in it goes BOOM!

It will definitely be studied by the enemies to find the bridges and infrastructure that can do the most damage at the least risk.

><><

I’d say they already have plans in place.

If/when the terrorist Sleeper Cells that have come into the country are activated, all hell is going to break loose.

According to the national association of ship pilots, “the pilot ordered its rudder turned hard to the left and its left anchor dropped in an effort to slow the vessel and stop it swinging to the right.”

Clearly, the harbor pilot is a leftist as he turned hard to the left and dropped the left anchor.

But then he took a red pill to swing to the right.

If so, I guess he’ll have to wait until the “experts” arrive at the correct speculation as to what happened in the pilot house. Then and only then, he’ll know what happened.

“There are two more bridges just two miles north.”

MAYBE you are thinking about THE TUNNELS!

It’s difficult to explain to people how long it takes one of these tubs of lard to respond to pilot commands.
It takes even longer to try and stop.
It takes a freight train longer to stop than the distance from this ship to the bridge.
You can see in the video the ship made it’s first course adjustment when the power goes out.
No power to adjust the course.
By the time the ship regains power, it’s already doomed.
The second power failure sealed it’s fate.

They’ll have to get that bridge rebuilt PRONTO.
Remember: You can get it done neat…you can get it done fast…you can get it done cheap —- pick two!

Actually it appears to be a perfect storm of woke and incompetence.

MUCH too soon to draw such conclusions. That gcaptain site looks credible, but unless I missed something the gigs the ship picked up in Chile were vanishingly minor, and she passed a USCG inspection in New York 3 months later.
