I havent bought a Costco cheesecake in a while, but the last time I did, it was something like $11...and its huge...you cannot make a cheesecake that big for that price...

Also Costco, right around this time of year, starts getting in its supply of Christmas things....that is where I got those small teddy bears that I sent....they were so cute, and really so cheap in price...

Costco really does have good prices on things...we dont go there too often, as its on the other side of town, the Westside, and we just dont get there too often...

But in another month or so, we will go over there, as I always like to scout out all their new Chrismtas stuff...

Today my two other purchases from QVCs Christmas in July show came...They would be the two trees I ordered...

Good grief, talking about Christmas again...

This is the time of the year I like the best...back to school, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, the leaves beginning to turn colors, the days getting shorter, the crispiness in the air, the migrating birds....I just love it...

And with all that, comes shopping for those things which reflect the season...

First comes Halloween...I am on the lookout for Halloween bears and dolls...A Halloween bear would be nice for Palos house....ebay has such good bargains, pretty soon they should have some snappy Halloween bears...the sellers try to gear their sales according to the season, so I am sure, soon Halloween bears and dolls will be going up for sale...

A man has a dog that snores in his sleep. Annoyed, because she can't sleep, his wife goes to the vet to see if he can help. The vet tells the woman to tie a ribbon around the dog's testicles and he will stop snoring.

A few hours after going to bed, the dog is snoring as usual. Finally, unable to sleep, she goes to the closet and grabs a piece of ribbon and ties it around the dog's testicles, and sure enough, the dog stops snoring. The woman is amazed!

Later that night, her husband returns home drunk from being out with his buddies. He climbs into bed, falls asleep, and begins snoring very loudly. The woman thinks maybe the ribbon will work on him. So she goes to the closet again, grabs a piece of ribbon, and ties it around her husband's testicles. Amazingly, it also works on him! The woman sleeps very soundly.

The next morning, the husband wakes up very hung over. He tumbles into the bathroom to urinate. As he is standing in front of the toilet, he looks in the mirror and sees a blue ribbon attached to his privates. He is very confused, and, as he walks back into the bedroom, he notices a red ribbon attached to his dog's testicles. He shakes his head, looks down at the dog and says:
"Boy, don't remember where we were or what we did, but, by God, we got first and second place!"

Good morning! Another hot, humid nasty day here. Our thunderstorms fizzled out again last night. We need rain.

I brush Candy every day to keep her cool. She sheds so much I could knit a Chihuahua out of what comes off of her.
