To: habs4ever

I can't teach you everything I know..because I'm still larnin.. I will have to live a lot longer to get to the real meat of some things. You hang in there girl, I'm workin on it..and getting to meatier parts all the time..;)
To: grannie9
Back in the rock and roll days, some groupies made plaster casts of band members, uh, um, you know...apparatus.
They were therefore known as the Plaster Casters. ;-)
To: Kathleen
The rock and roll days? What days were those? I never heard of it, and I thought I was from the rock and roll days.. Not rock..rock and roll.. S'plain, you Catlic girl..
To: grannie9
In the 70's. Supposedly there were casts of Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page etc. At one time the casts were taken out on tour, but I unfortunately missed it.
;-(
I would have liked to have seen the exhibit for historical purposes, of course...lol...
To: Kathleen
Ahhh.. that was Rock wasn't it? Rock and Roll was in the Fifties.. That's my genre..and we would have never made Plaster Casters.. We were good girls.. ;)
To: grannie9
We were good girls.. ;) ROTFLMAO...giggle...choke...snort...Surely you jest, Gran. You can't kid a kidder, I went to catlic school, you know. ;-)
I love 50's music, too. ;-) I must be getting old because the "new" stuff these days sounds like noise to me...lol

Good morning sweetie.. This one is not from Webshots.. Directly from the Mount Washington Observatory Website.
I will be glad when Fotki is back up.. I have pics done and ready to post. ;)
Are you going to let me post your Hummingbird pic? Please? lol
To: lodwick; Kathleen
    Good morning Loddy.
I just spotted a dead Crow in the yard. The police (animal officer) is coming to check it out. I hope to hell it's not West Nile and not the Mother Crow..which I think is a Raven.. She sounds like a Turkey..
To: grannie9
Mount Washington is gorgeous. I look forward to seeing the rest of the pics you took yesterday.
Yes, you can post my hummingbird pic. ;-)
To: grannie9
Oh no Gran. I hope it's not West Nile and I'm glad you called the county. Do let us know their findings.
(fingers crossed that it's nothing)
To: Kathleen
So do I.. The Sherrif asked Al how close he got to it. He didn't walk down, he took the golf cart and stayed five or six feet away. I found it with the binoculars. Something black didn't fit into the landscape. Unless it was the neighbors dead black cat.
The Sherrif asked Al if he could see if the crow's eyes were crinkled.. I wonder what that means.. Al wasn't close enough to see that..and I told him not to walk down.. You never know what you could pick up on your feet.. I'm sure not West Nile, but why take a chance..
Oh goody, I will post your pic as soon as Fotki comes back.. (if ever).
To: grannie9
I'm glad Al stayed away from it. Do you have water on your land? Any mosquito breeding places?
Between West Nile, malaria and snipers this week, I think we've all had about enough.
