Grandstanding? Hardly. No American should travel to that place until justice is done. Why should they get rich off of our tourist dollars while spitting in our faces?

I went to jamaica a decade ago and i went off the beaten path...I could easily have been killed just as I think natalie was killed. I would not blame myself for being murdered but I would blame myself for putting myself in that sitution due to the choices I had made.
I have had a decade to think about my actions then and what could have happened to me as a result of them. This LEARNING has made me take better notice of the actions I take now....its a GROWING UP THING you see.

All the evidence points to Joran and his posse dropping something in her drink, and while she could still walk, taking her to their car, and from there to the gang rape site. (They have admitted to this much.) Moreover, they seem to have made a habit of this on young pretty female tourists. No one expects to be drugged and raped at a "tropical paradise."
They need to be stopped.

At first, I questioned Natalee's involvement, and I questioned the parents lifestyle, and so on. That was before so many of the facts came out. Now, the only thing I can blame anyone (except the perps) for is that the chaperones weren't really there to chaperone. Maybe I also blame Natalee's friends who didn't try to step and say, "waitaminnit, buddy, what do you think you're doing here?" to prevent her from leaving. Or at least trying. But even that seems trivial, compared to what these guys did, and evidently still do to other tourist girls.

That is, if she was drunken. From what I've heard so far, it seems far more likely she wasn't drunken, but someone had slipped a drug into her drink, probably one of the "date rape" drugs. Give the girl a break.

LOL! Maybe so, but Aruba has bungled the investigation and my sympathies are with Natalee's folks.
They haven't been allowed to "look into this thoroughly" because the Aruban government refuses to allow it. What they were allowed to do was forced on the Aruban government by political & media pressure ONLY. Otherwise Beth's family would have been kicked out of Aruba the first week (which Beth was seriously worried about). The ONLY reason Aruba hasn't thrown them out is because of the media and government pressure to this day because Natalee's family refuses to give up on JUSTICE for Natalee.
They all know Natalee is not going home with them EVER but Natalee deserves to have her murderers punished. Her family has handled themselves better than I would have EVER handled it, that's for sure. Someone would be paying for killing my child one way or another! I doubt that I would wait for a damn boycott!
