I received this email because I am subscribed to the moveon.org email blast. It's always good to keep an eye on the enemy. Read and enjoy him trying to put a good spin on the drubbing they received.

14. Bush is now a lame duck president. He will have no greater moment than the one he's having this week. It's all downhill for him from here on out -- and, more significantly, he's just not going to want to do all the hard work that will be expected of him. It'll be like everyone's last month in 12th grade -- you've already made it, so it's party time! Perhaps he'll treat the next four years like a permanent Friday, spending even more time at the ranch or in Kennebunkport. And why shouldn't he? He's already proved his point, avenged his father and kicked our ass.

And you've won an Oscar. Guess you have nothing else to prove either, right Mikey? It is not all about "you". WE voted YOU and YOURS down; the President ran so that he could FINISH the job that John Kerry did not want to do (he wanted to hand the reigns over to Europe and the UN to fight both the war in Iraq and the war on terror). President Bush did not ask for the job of fighting international terrorism. But 8 years of failed policy towards terrorism (treating it as a crime when we were facing nations that sponsored terrorism) and a massive attack on our homeland demanded a response.

Saddam Hussein was a sponsor of Hamas' suicide bombers (offering payments to the families of those who blew themselves up in public). Saddam was trying to obtain weapons of mass destruction. Whether he was successful or the scientists and arms dealers were just taking his money and yanking his chain doesn't really matter. We prosecute those who hire hitmen (except Larry Flynt, who contracted a hit on Bob Guccione) no matter how lacking their skills may be to actually commit murder. We also prosecute those felons who attempt to buy firearms; Saddam Hussein was already on "probation" as a result of the Gulf War.

We still have not identified the source of the anthrax that was released on the American public in late 2001. Maybe someone in America weaponized it in his basement. Is it easy to create just a small batch or more likely that a larger quantity was produced (at least a coffee cup full)?

Since such weapons of mass destruction (biological, chemical, and nuclear) are difficult to obtain, difficult to refine, etc. it is important to take rogue nations out of the equation.

The media's poo pooing of every action in Iraq is pointless now as there is no "upside" to trashing Bush's reputation over the war. He is safe in office and it only puts the troops/civilians at risk. Time for the media's Zogbyism to stop as it only provides aid and comfort to the terrorists (and YES they are terrorists, they are not "insurgents" or "minutemen"). The Iraqis want to live in peace. The terrorists that flooded into their country from other nations are not of the homeland. Pulling out would allow them to destabilize the region just as the transitionary government comes to power.

In addition to the war on terror and the war in Iraq, there is judicial activism to fight. Laws come from state and federal senators and representatives (the Legislative branch) NOT the courts (Judicial branch). George W. Bush will get to nominate several Supreme Court Justices. This is an important decision and will be met with massive resistance by YOUR kind. This will require strategy and salesmanship.

Hardly a time to rest on laurels.

1. It is against the law for George W. Bush to run for president again.

He can run for Governor of Texas again.

Gee, it's great to be a Texan.

15. Should Bush decide to show up to work and take this country down a very dark road, it is also just as likely that either of the following two scenarios will happen: a) Now that he doesn't ever need to pander to the Christian conservatives again to get elected, someone may whisper in his ear that he should spend these last four years building "a legacy" so that history will render a kinder verdict on him and thus he will not push for too aggressive a right-wing agenda; or b) He will become so cocky and arrogant -- and thus, reckless -- that he will commit a blunder of such major proportions that even his own party will have to remove him from office.

He has a "legacy". He guided America through the dark days of the 9-11 attacks. The economy took a serious hit (compounding the recession inherited from the final year of the Clinton administration).

He stood tall in defiance of corrupt officials in the UN, France, Germany, and Russia. He built a coalition of support from 90 nations and went to war in Afghanistan and Iraq. Both were pitched by the left as being unwinnable wars.

The protesters said that we would lose tens of thousands of soldiers in Iraq and end up killing over a million civilians/soldiers in Iraq.

The exaggerated figure of 1,000 dead in Iraq includes over one third who did not die in combat (traffic accidents, heart attacks, pneumonia, electrocution, drownings, etc.) and a sizable number who weren't even in Iraq at the time (Germany, Kuwait, and even KANSAS crossing the highway).

The left has now claimed that there are 100,000 dead civilians in Iraq as a result of the war (claiming that until recently the number was heavily under reported, at something like 30,000).

Their projections were as bad as election night's distortions.

George W. Bush stands poised to be a conservative President standing in good company with Ronald Reagan (then again Moore hated Reagan). We do not find him to be as conservative as Mr. Reagan. Is he more socially conservative than his father? Possibly. We would like to see more fiscal conservatism from Bush43; he is pushing for limited taxation, we would still like to see a scaling back of socialism. We may not get the reduction in socialism that we seek. There is some talk of privatization but it seems that we will also be witness to some long demanded "goodies" from special interests. Once established, these "entitlements" may prove to be difficult to ween the public off of.

Illegal immigration is another issue that must be addressed. As national security becomes more important, so must border security. If it means permitting easier access to immigration (as a way of keeping tabs on those crossing the border), put it under consideration. Crime must be prosecuted. We cannot be a nation of scofflaws.

Whatever reforms we get from President Bush, we can at least breath a sigh of relief that we have averted the trainwreck that would have been a John Kerry presidency advancing the Age of Aquarius' social agenda. They don't get to load the courts. They don't get to bow to the UN.

16. There are nearly 300 million Americans -- 200 million of them of voting age. We only lost by three and a half million! That's not a landslide -- it means we're almost there. Imagine losing by 20 million. If you had 58 yards to go before you reached the goal line and then you barreled down 55 of those yards, would you stop on the three yard line, pick up the ball and go home crying -- especially when you get to start the next down on the three yard line? Of course not! Buck up! Have hope! More sports analogies are coming!!!
How many lies did you have to tell to get there? How much did you have to spend?

Bush-Hating Groups Paid $100,000,000 an Electoral Vote

How many votes did you have to steal to get that count?

BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY? Eh, Mikey?

17. Finally and most importantly, over 55 million Americans voted for the candidate dubbed "The #1 Liberal in the Senate." That's more than the total number of voters who voted for either Reagan, Bush I, Clinton or Gore. Again, more people voted for Kerry than Reagan. If the media are looking for a trend it should be this -- that so many Americans were, for the first time since Kennedy, willing to vote for an out-and-out liberal. The country has always been filled with evangelicals -- that is not news. What IS news is that so many people have shifted toward a Massachusetts liberal. In fact, that's BIG news. Which means, don't expect the mainstream media, the ones who brought you the Iraq War, to ever report the real truth about November 2, 2004. In fact, it's better that they don't. We'll need the element of surprise in 2008.

Aw STFU, Mike. EVEN MORE PEOPLE STOOD IN LINE TO SAY "HELL, NO!" TO JOHN KERRY & JOHN EDWARDS & THE PRESS (US AND EUROPEAN). It was very satisfying and we are enjoying your pained responses struggling to make sense of "how" you could lose. You guys really don't get it. You are that out of touch. Bush Country is genuine. You are myopic. "How could he win? I don't know ANYONE who voted for him!"

Despite the Zogbyism and negativity, good triumphed over evil.

my understanding is that they only won michicgan and pennsylvania due to voter fraud in philidelphia and detroit.

There should be significant intimidation going on. Felonies are serious.

should be a new law: US Attorneys should provide election monitors: monitor all election counts (that have federal positions up) with time registered video tape that would hold up in court. (ok CD would be find). voter fraud is a felony.

I like the UN recommendation to mark each voter with indelible ink. That would be a start.

The only age group in which the majority voted for Kerry was young adults (Kerry: 54%, Bush: 44%), proving once again that your parents are always wrong and you should never listen to them.

When I was a boy of fourteen my father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man around. But when I got to be twenty-one, I was astonished at how much he had learned in seven years.

There are security cameras in the post offices, banks, convenience stores, and even in stop lights.

I would not be one to push for "Big Brother" to add more eyes BUT it is more dangerous to allow corrupt workers at polling centers to fiddle with equipment behind closed doors to manipulate the outcome of an election.

We have learned that the "authorities" who go through luggage at the airport looking for explosives (that's it!) are stealing items (and could easily PLACE a bomb in luggage going on a plane). Cameras are helping to stop these corrupt officials.

What sort of BACKGROUND CHECKS are there for polling center workers? One reason we have problems at the airports is that we were not permitted to screen the employees.

Also we have to see a driver's license or other official ID at the polls. It is needed to write a check, drive a car, enter a bar, buy beer, buy cigarettes, and now even to use a credit card. We've all got one. The left screams because they know it would catch people in the act of vote fraud.

2. Bush's victory was the NARROWEST win for a sitting president since Woodrow Wilson in 1916.

14. ...He's already proved his point, avenged his father and kicked our ass.

So which is it Mike??? Was it a narrow victory or did Dubya kick your ass???? I believe it is the latter.

I live in MN, and I hate to say this, but a few of my friends are just plain ultra liberals. One of them exclaimed how the soldier you speak of that was in Farenhype 911 reminded her of a "creepy neo-nazi white power guy". I had all I could do just to keep from unloading on her... Now I hear about people asking for the blue states to join up with Canada as part of that socialist country - I say over my dead body will that happen! I refuse to be part of a wrecked society because most people in the wonderfully blue state of MN are out of their trees...

My God, this is insane! I have to deal with this garbage from my parents and siblings - it's almost too much to bear when you can't help but bump into a liberal in the state you live in, no matter where you go... I'd move if I could, but it's almost too priceless to see all the sullen and withdrawn idiots that are everywhere in this state because their guy lost!

ROFLMAO!

The amputated soldier in FahrenHYPE 911 was injured when a tire they were inflating blew up (overinflation).

Now it was a tragedy and the men served their country. I put no blame on their actions as to their injuries. The left however is lying throught THEIR teeth when they try to pin that death and dismemberment as being "Bush's fault; Bush lied - people died". Such an accident can occur ANYWHERE in the world on a military base.

Over one third of the deaths on the infamous "1,000 dead - Bush's fault" list were in non-combat situations.

The left does not care about these soldiers. They want them just to be a number, a statistic. And a photo op of a coffin draped corpse (or better still a photo of a dead body, something we NEVER saw from the 9-11 attacks as it was considered "too insensitive" to the families).

Since Mike likes sports analogies I have one. Considering John Kerry had the MSM, George Soros, NPR, and Michael Moore on his side, if this presidential race was a football game, Dubya would have been a 20 point road underdog and still whipped the lefties butts. Where would be Democrats without the MSM and Michael Moore on their side spewing the garbage they put out? They may have lost the EC 350-188.

For a FAINT idea of just how biased (and coordinated) the news items were this year, take a look at the headlines/links in post #100 of this thread:

Left Activists Plans to Attempt a Bush Impeachment

I just spent a couple hours culling them. Maybe I'll put together something on my profile page in the coming months.
