I'm sure most people here are by now familiar with Jeff Gannon, the "reporter" who lobs biased, softball questions during White House press conferences.

Media Matters has previously reported that Gannon works for "Talon News," an organization which is connected to GOPUSA and Free Republic.

Gannon was #2 on the Top 10 Conservative Idiots list last week for referring to Hillary Clinton and Harry Reid as "people who seem to have divorced themselves from reality" while asking George W. Bush a question at a recent press conference.

We got an email from him over the weekend. It said:

Won't be a popular position here, but there are serious questions about how daily press credentials were issued to somebody using a fake name.

When it comes out who authorized his credentials, and who was paying him, it's not likely to be good. Time for damage control.
