All Tuckered Out- Do Viewers Really Want More Tucker Carlson?
The Radio Equalizer ^ | June 15 2005 | Brian Maloney

From the universe of annoying liberal habits, here are two that consistently jump off the page:

--- When our viewpoints are intentionally misrepresented, to suit their cartoonish horns-on-heads images of conservatives.

--- When they use their still-considerable mainstream media muscle to hire phony, weak, or otherwise ineffective "conservatives" for radio, television and newspaper gigs, in order to make our side look foolish.

That likely explains how lightweight pundit Tucker Carlson has landed yet another TV talk show

That little pompous jerk makes me DIVE for the remote at the first sighting of his wussy bow tie.

Otherwise, I think he's just fine.

He's turned being mildly, politely put off into an interviewing style. He's boring and has zero inside information or intellectual rigor. Can you imagine him getting furious about ANYthing, except misplacing one of his wussy bow ties? Bob Novak isn't one of my favorite pundits, but he knows a thing or two and yells a lot, which makes for interesting watching on occassion.

I know this is unpopular here but I actually like Tucker. His liberal counterpart on this show also is at least pleasant, or more so than most fire breathing Dems. At least from the little I've seen of her thus far. I think the show is going to be pretty good. It won't last because nothing will last on MSNBC opposite Hannity and Colmes.

Tucker Carlson is Ricky Boy Lazio with a bow tie. A sacrafical lamb hired by the liberals to misrepresent conservatives and his dumbass doesn't realize it. Doc Savage was doing a good job until the perverts lobby had him removed.

I had read the column and I agree with it 100%. Tucker is one of those "nice", "reasonable", conservatives, who not just weak and ineffective, its difficult to believe they are truely disagree with the liberals on a lot of social issues.

I watched the show for five minutes and went back to looking at the paint dry it was so boring.

Thats why he's always on MSNBC or PBS. Wills and Brooks are two other pundits who are conservative lite. If MSNBC wanted a real conservative they would give Rush his own show.
