Increasing Liberal Anger Over Air America Coverage

Misplaced Anger

Killing The Messengers, Plus Other Air America Updates

Increasingly bent-out-of-shape Liberals are reacting with rage over Air America's corporate meltdown.

Are they mad at Air America Radio, for not yet repaying nearly $900,000 in taxpayer funds, improperly received from the Bronx-based Gloria Wise Boys and Girls Club? Or for their terrible public relations mishandling of the scandal?

Nope, instead, angry lefties would rather blame everything on Michelle Malkin, Hugh Hewitt and yours truly.

And, they've started a campaign to dominate the comments section of my site, in apparent retaliation for kicking off the Air America Scandal firestorm.

Don't believe me? Take a look at this from the Daily Kos, the nation's largest liberal blog site, with as many as a half-million daily readers:

Hi Michelle, I heard you blathering on Hewitt's whitebread radioshow a few days ago about what you and your wingnut friends have called Air Scamerica, Air Deadbeat, Air Enron, and on and on ad nauseum. You really annoyed me with you insistence to call whatever happened at AA Air Enron that day, and your statement that many folks that listen to Air America are obsessed with Enron. I was tempted to write this a few days ago, but didn't.

Then I checked your lame blog today and see that you continue to call the AA thing Air Enron. You and your buddies' protestations that liberal media bias is keeping this from being a big story are baseless. Maybe people who work for media sources (other than the Moonie Times) can distinguish what may have happened at AA from the Enron debacle, a faculty apparently missing from your miniscule intellectual toolbox.

While Malkin is afraid of comments, the blog she gets all her Air America misinformation from, Radio Equalizer, does allow comments. The comments are already about 50/50 pro-/anti-Air America, so an influx of dKos members would certainly shift things. radioequalizer.blogspot.com.

Radio Equalizer is hosted by a former Seattle talk host who was fired by new management, but claims that the reason he was fired was because he criticized Dan Rather and that there's a liberal media conspiracy in talk radio. Needless to say, Fox News put him on the air a lot and helped him launch his new career as an Air America Sux loon.

The insults are getting increasingly disgusting, liberals really seem to have no boundries or decency when it comes to venting rage against political opponents. Using racism, deceptions, you name it, it's all okay, as long as they win.

At the same Kos page, more love, as the true aim is revealed (my language editing):

...is for AAR to get Apple computer level litigious. Sue the living sh=t out of anyone, and I do me anyone that has defamed their name.

If there is nothing to the story, and we know that there isn't, then it should be rather simple to bankrupt Michelle and the rest of her coterie of slackjawed f--kwits.

The question, of course, is why I still allow comments? I could remove them, but would rather they remain. Why? Because lefty hate speaks for itself, I want people to see the truth.

Yeah, well, but, if the money runs out, the electrons
stop flowing to the antennae. ACT just shut down this
week for that reason.

I suspect that AA representatives are groveling before
Lord Soros as we speak, but don't be too surprised if
AA simply vanishes real soon now.

They will, of course, have a set of talking points
that make it all Bush's fault.

I have come to the conclusion that the average age for Air America listeners and DU posters is 14-16 years old. Their responses online and in emails never cease to amaze me with their total lack of maturity and heavy reliance on vulgarities. A great man once said: "Vulgarity is the attempt of a weak mind to express itself forcefully." There is no doubt in my mind that this is true and these people are proof. Sad.

If this gets out to the general public, this is guaranteed to be a public relations disaster for Air America. This is misuse of public money, and the abuse of children and sick elderly people by misappropriating funds set aside for their aid.

The only problem I see is how many people know that Air America exists, outside of the liberal nutburgers who actually listen to it?

Well.... Spitzer's opened an investigation into Air America's disgusting financial regimens. How long before Gonzales gets into the act?

To quote Emeror Kosh from "Babylon-5": "The Avalanche has started. It is to late for the pebbles to vote."

The Lefties and Libs can try to Kill The Messenger. Though, it's a day late and a dollar short. They can try to focus their anger towards Michelle Malkin, though she only does Trackback. No Comments, for obvious reasons. There are others, like Sister Told Yah and The Anchoress (Links through Michelle's Blog) who have their teeth sunk too deeply into this story to make it go away.

I expect the NYPD to start impounding Air America's staion financial records, computers and electronics by the end of next week. Considering their Ratings, it won't hurt 'em none.
