Insane, conservative-hating moonbats chime in with their vitriolic schadenfreude:
Attorney on Ed Schultz' Show just said he researched TX law, and
the reason the WH Drs are so involved in this Whittington case is that they're scared! TX law states "If a victim dies "WITHIN ONE YEAR" of a shooting incident, the shooter can be charged with involuntary manslaughter!

STOP talking about Cheney!
This whole Cheney story may be fascinating, etc....but, let's stop making such a big fuss over it. It's taking our time away from the war, the economy, medicare, social security, human rights, the tax cuts, etc!
This issue won't matter to Red Staters...if anything, all it does is confirm to them that Cheney is a real man, a man who is just like them..a man who hunts! They love hunters!
And, some of them have probably been in the same situation - or, almost had an accident happen - so they can empathize. And, they will.
This is a good distraction...one that plays well for them and does nothing to help us.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Maybe this is going to be the way
to get rid of Cheney. The world has been waiting. We've all been waiting.
Although, I thought Cheney would be taken out the legal way - through the court system.
This should just hasten his demise - Thank God.

Cheney Will Have To Resign. This Is Bigger Than It Appears.
Okay. He shot a lawyer. Everyone thinks that's cute, so he's got that going for him.
But there can't be a clearer case of obstruction of justice. I'm glad local law enforcement at least made an attempt to investigate.
He better hope that guy don't die.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Seems the backstory to watch here is the rift between Rove and Chenney. One could imagine how embarassed Cheney must have been following the shooting...especially if he was bagged. All Crashcart was thinking was how to keep this from getting out. Remember, these are people who are used to picking up the phone and getting records erased and rewritten...methinks "The Dick" was spending Saturday night and into Sunday trying to figure how he could scotch this whole thing and no one would be the wiser. This ran counter to Rove who knew it would get out and was used to being the one who ran the spin on these things. He must have been frustrated as all hell as Cheney and his ego was overruling Rove.
Now it appears Rove is pushing back. Instead of this story fading away on a Sunday afternoon...like Crashcart hoped, it not only picked up legs, but it appears now that it's being helped along by some of his "best friends"...like that White House official (coughRovecough).
For me, the proof will be if Crashcart is forced to make a public statement...or, even worse...hold a press conference. If he has to do either, Rove has gotten even.

Forget motive for a moment, is it possible Cheney had a tantrum
and shot this guy in cold blood for some as of yet unknown reason?
It seems pretty clear 30 yeards is no longer a valid statement.
He was wearing bright orange.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Veep nearly kills a man, and what's on the White House website?
Absolutely nothing.
Screams volumes, don't it?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Cheney's biggest problem - no democrat to blame
Considering the Republicans sole strategy is to blame dems for everything, this must be proving incredibly difficult for Rove & crew.
All Republican hunting party.
Republican VP shooter.
Republican victim.
I honestly think they don't know what to do when they have no one to blame. I know they blamed the victime, but that isn't too good. People have sympathy for people who have been shot.
Just an FYI for the VRWC - the gun was nudged off target by Karl Rove as Cheney was firing to provoke the moonbats into a rage of conspiracy theory to provoke a sympathy reaction from the public for the poor, unfairly criticized administration.
So sssh! Let them moonbat away. It's all part of The Plan (tm).
I like the theory about Rove setting him up. Not sure I buy the one about him shooting the guy in cold blood, though, LOL!
Chaney did not get shot so what's the big deal. His onl crime was not having the peoper Texas hunting stamp for lawyers. We have a 10 bag limit and the stamp is 5 cents.
One of their threads yesterday--which got pulled--had someone stating that this could be the "scandal" that gets the Dems back in power.
It's sad and pathetic that they have to hang their hopes on some imaginary "scandal."
Heaven forbid that the Dems come up with original ideas, bold initiatives, positive solutions, etc.

Did any of them ever think the victim, yes the victim, didn't want the press crawling all over the hospital etc?
Did they ever think the old guy just wants to keep his privacy about his healthcare?
Sheesh these two are friends, don't ya think Cheney wanted to make sure he got proper care before everything else?
The DNC--the Party of Peace. Uh, huh.
Sick that some of them are hoping Mr. Whittington actually dies from this accident! >:-(
I love reading what moonbats have to say. It's fun. Kinda like watching a bunch of monkeys try to work a leggo set.
obviously Rove is setting himself up for vice president. And then he will set into motion the Bush impeachment process so he can take over as dictator with emergency powers.
but please, sssstttttt.... be quiet on this, we don't want the DUmmies to know about this :-)
The moonbats would love to see this old guy die.
DUers have a nonsensical belief in their own persecution, fatal to their cause. Although the site's name suggests it is underground and maybe therefore secret, the posters are in chronic "look at me" mode, squeezing publicity out of every possible event.
DU is about as underground as the top 1 inch of a sanitary fill.
Top 1 inch of sanitary fill--that's an apt description.
Ya know, it would be different if the lawyer guy was angry at Cheney about it. But they said on Fox News earlier that he stated it was his fault.
I love how they think the White House website should be instantly changed to be an automatic cyber-clearinghouse for information on the Cheney shooting, 24/7.
The DUmmies are calling this "Fuddgate."
BWAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Another "day when everything changed forever", just like all the others!
"I love reading what moonbats have to say. It's fun. Kinda like watching a bunch of monkeys try to work a leggo set."
Ok, you owe me some glass cleaner for my monitor. Thank goodness I dont have a flat screen.
May I steal that for a tag line?
