Believe it or NOT, there are other things to do in the San Francisco region other than hang out in the Castro District...

Experiment 6-2-6 has escaped! Only temporarily. Approximately once a year, I save enough fundage to afford a ticket off this rock and achieve sanctuary on the mainland...
But then, the money never lasts, and I have to return to the salt mines in the South Pacific...

That's odd. Disneyland is almost an 8-hour drive from San Francisco. I rarely visit both southern California and northern California in the same trip.
But, there are, indeed, other things to do in San Francisco than "hang out in the Castro District..." I highly recommend the natural history museum in Golden Gate Park. It's fascinating.
