Senator Defends Lack of Knowledge Concerning Obama’s Accomplishments

In an appearance on MSNBC’s “Hardball” with Chris Matthews, Texas State Senator Kirk Watson (D-Austin) was unable to name a single legislative accomplishment of presidential candidate Senator Barack Obama (D-Ill). This was despite being asked several times and given “extra time to think” during a commercial break.

After being mocked by Obama’s presidential rival, Senator Hillary Clinton (D-N.Y.), a flummoxed Watson defended his ignorance. “Well, I’m not the only one who can’t think of anything he’s done,” Watson said to reporters. “No one else can either. Besides, the Obama campaign isn’t about accomplishment. It’s about change. He’s about turning the page and making a fresh start untainted by any of the accomplishments of the past.”

That’s a DEFENSE? ROFL!

“Well, yeah, I’m stupid, but so are all the other Obama supporters!”

(Maybe I shouldn’t say that too loudly, ‘cause I’m voting for the Obamafarian in the tx primary... but I’m not stupid, just mean to Hillary.)

Clearly, the big problem for conservatives in this election is going to be keeping any of the 50% of the population with above average intelligence from defecting to the BO camp. He appears to have the left end of the bell curve completely sewn up.

A general election campaign commercial for McCain that wrote itself.
