Hamas Won't Recognize Israel or Grant Lasting Peace
AZCONSERVATIVE ^ | 27 April 2008 | John Semmens

Despite former president Jimmy Carter’s claim to have negotiated an agreement for Hamas to recognize Israel’s right to exist and a promise to live in peace, Hamas leader, Khaled Mashaal, said his militant Islamic group will never recognize Israel nor agree to peace.

“We love President Carter, but he doesn’t understand anything,” Mashaal explained. “We have offered a 10-year truce if Israel withdraws to the 1967 borders. That should be enough time for them to pack up and vacate the rest of our lands.”

Mashaal said that Carter’s misunderstanding is the “result of his inability to comprehend that the Quran commands us to slay the Jews wherever we may find them.” “He is a simpleton who believes in ‘turning the other cheek,’” Mashaal conceded. “Now, our land is the first place we are going to look for Jews to kill. If they leave they’ll have a respite until we are strong enough to pursue them where they have fled.”

“We love President Carter, but he doesn’t understand anything,” Mashaal explained - Mashaal, you are a kinder man than I, and I agree with you.

Exactly what part of that very clear, unequivocal declaration of intent to murder Jews does our “leadership” in Washington not understand?

Where naive ends stupid seamlessly begins.

Hamas is one of many terrorist orgs. Even if Hamas stated they recognized Israel (Hamas never keeps their word anyway), what about the other terrorist orgs that will be supported under the table by Hamas. Terrorism will NOT die with Hamas.

Well, Hamas has once again been very clear and right up front with its goal and agenda: The complete extermination of the Jewish people. Israel thus should have its marching orders: The complete and utter destruction of Hamas. Israel will be fully justified in undertaking such an action.

Maybe shoot for a "5 Day War" and end up reclaiming back all the spoils from the "6 Day War" they have given away.

“The complete and utter destruction of Hamas. Israel will be fully justified in undertaking such an action.”

Yes, and several consecutive leaders of Iran have provided ample justification for Israel to obliterate Iran to the extent they might think necessary.

Well, Parley, it seems Jimmah isn’t the only one subject to being snookered.

You really need to know just who John Semmens is, and especially that his forte is the “Semi-News” and is specifically a satirist.

That’s not to say that his writing isn’t spot-on satire. It is.

But it isn’t “news”.
