Those aren’t Gestapo boots, those are traditional riding boots.

I actually like the boots.....at least they aren't stiletto heels because they are a little too unstable for the elderly to wear

No. They have a heel. They cannot be riding boots.

Queen Elizabeth II is the granddaughter of the Kaiser and the Czar's cousin; King George V. The house of Windsor does have German roots.

The Gestapo were secret police, they wore civilian clothes. The fedora’s and leather trench coats have the same origin as the horned viking helmets.(Hollywood) Boots like that were worn by the SS on their dress uniform which they wear in all Hollywood productions regardless of where they are. You can see them on the screen even in the front line trenches during the cold Russian winter.

Sure they can -- especially if they're just "boots in the style of riding boots."

Hmmm, I wonder why my western style boots, and all my riding boots, have heels? Must be some kind of mistake.

So the designer wanted to make it a little fancier for women, it is still the style of an English Riding boot.

Okay, fine.

Riding boots have heels. So why would Queenie be wearing riding boots to what seems to be a nice function?

There is no such thing as "Gestapo boots". If they want to insinuate Nazi/Prussian officer boots, they just might do so. The Gestapo (Secret State police) wore civilian clothes on "duty", and uniforms of their party organisation when in office/off-duty.

Regardless of that riding boots are not "Nazi" and were worn by all Armies throughout the 19th and 20th century.

Why not? She's queen, after all.

Also,

Buckingham Palace says that the boots were more for function than fashion, as the Queen took a brisk walk through the Slovakian Tatra mountains on a three day tour of Slovakia and Slovenia this week.

Nonsense. These are pilots boots. Again... the Gestapo wore civilian clothes (else they wouldn’t have been secret... duh). Since most of them were also members of the party SD (security service) they wore the black (pre-1939) and grey (post-1939) uniform, which included black riding boots. They had no zippers or wool lining... the pic you posted are as I said pilot’s boots.

Go sit in the corner, please.

Her Majesty is the granddaughter of King George V and Queen Mary.

Her great grandmother was Queen Victoria, whose husband was Prince Albert of Saxe Coberg.

She is related to the Kaiser by the fact that Victorias daughter, Vicky married Prince Friedrich of Prussia who's son was Kaiser Wilhelm II.

You are correct in this regard; when William of Orange died and that line died out with him, King George I was brought over from Hanover to be king. He brought various and sundry like the Battenberg princes who in WWI changed their name to Mountbatten. Phillip Mountbatten, Elizabeth's husband is the son of Prince Andrew of Greece who was born in Denmark and is the grandson of Princess Alexandra of Denmark, wife to Edward the VII.

If you wonder why the British line ante Diana (fresh genes)is a little dull, e.g. Prince Charles draw a diagram of what I typed above. Co-sanguinity, not so good.

I said she was the granddaughter of King George V.

I said King George V was the cousin of the Czar and the Kaiser through the fecund Queen Victoria.

I said the House of Windsor has German roots.

All that is TRUE!

So what are you sending me to the corner for?

The Queen was BOMBED by the Germans in WWII.

Central London WAS “ground zero” for the Nazi bombs, and she did not leave London for safer houses outside the city.

- The title and implication behind it - are repulsive - but typical for today’s media.
