This is my first post to FR so I'l keep it short and sweet! What is Biden talking about? Mark my words, an unknown major crisis in the world within 6 months of the next President taking office. And that if its Obama, We need to support him without question and urge others, (with pressure), to support him in whatever he decides to do to handle the unknown situation. Those statements are from Bidens speech at Cheney Stadium in Tacoma on Sunday. Its the beginning of propagandizing for a leftist/socialist government. Ill tell you, if thats whats in the near future for this country, I sure as hell dont want a community organizer who spent a significant amount of that time in the company of a domestic terrorist who is not in prison because of a technicality and has spent only a mere 100 and some days of his current 1st term as a US Senator, actually doing what he was elected to do not counting time spent campaigning for POTUS. Some feel it is no big deal that Obama hangs out with Ted Kaczynski, oh wait, wrong terrorist, Ted was the Unabomber who is staying at the Super Max Prison in Colorado, they could be friends though, the Unabombers manifesto was ahead of its time dealing with social/environmental issues. Al Gore couldn't have said it better himself. Now I remember, thats right it was Tim McVey, wait no, wrong terrorist again, Tim's been exocuted. I get confused about which domestic terrorist is ok by the media to hang out with. Now I remember, its Bill Ayers, hes the domestic terrorist who the mainstream media will ignore and give an inexperienced, 1st term politician a get out of jail free card for hanging out with. Nightline has devoted a significant amount of time tugging at the heartstrings of voters with news of the failing health of Obamas grandmother, May her health return. Is this an October surprise? They then close the stupid show with the important question, Did Governor Palins appearance on SNL hurt her or help her? Vote online! McCain, though not my first choice, is a known quantity in the world and much less likely to be tested by those who wish to do us harm. As a lifelong military man, McCain is much more qualified to keep this nation safe. Nobody has offered a proper explanation of why I should be more concerned with Palin as a VP than with Obama as President. Governor Palin owes no favors to have gotten to where she is. I strongly suspect Obama has a crate full of IOUs to some very questionable leftist/socialist people, groups, agencies, etc Governor Palin has actually been on the job the last 3 years while Obama has been running the longest, earliest ever Presidential campaign. Both have a similar period of time in government with Obama as a legislator and Palin as an executive. A legislator, (Obama), writes and votes on bills that usually end up costing tax payers, (you), more money. An executive, (Palin), such as a, Mayor, Governor, or President, runs the government of their city, state, or country, hopefully within a specified budget. An executive is a much more demanding position running the many departments under them. A legislator basically comes up with ways to get more and spend more of your money and making deals with other legislators to do more of the same. Thanks to the usual media suspects, ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, ETC I know much about Palin, MR. and MRS. McCain, Joe the Plumber, yet very little about Obama, ACORN, Ayers, etc I already know what a schmuck Biden is. What upset me so much is the original statement Biden made, We need to support him Obama) without question and urge others, (with pressure), to support him in whatever he decides to do to handle the unknown situation. After what these people (The press and democrats)did to President Bush? SCREW THEM!!! Where was he when Bush had to make the tough decisions? Back stabber. Just a refresher. The stock market and economy had already collapsed a year before Bush took office. Enron, Global Crossing, etc all the fraud occurred under Bill Clinton. George Bush is the President that prosecuted them all. Then, 9-11 happened and worsened things but in spite of all that, the Bush tax cut policies helped the economy recover in a remarkably short time Also under most of Bushs Presidency, the value of the markets kept going up, interest rates kept going down, unemployment kept going down to a level that was basically so low that the remaining 4.8% just didnt want a job. In 2006, the democrats took control of the house and senate. As the controlling entity, the democrats appointed their own committee chair persons to run everything. A year and a half later, the economy began to tank. The first thing to jam up the gears of our economy was the democrats energy policy which was to do nothing to help lessen the energy crisis. The next thing was to appoint Barney Frank to the SEC and facilitate the housing mortgage crisis. The only mistake Bush may have made was going into IRAQ. A war that was won in less than a month and then nation building commenced after that. Opinions about this war will eventually settle in time and the value of what Bush did will be recognized. I can think of a lot of ways we are a better, safer nation today because of Bush and his policies. Just noticed something curious, why does the spell checker in Word 2007 recognize Obama but not Palin as correct spellings? I have watched the weekly 90 minute Obama infomercials (I mean saturday night live) the last 4 weeks on NBC. Last night cold play had to work an endorsement of Obama into their song at the end of the show. They have one more show before the election and one "special show" night before the election. It just amazes that NBC and SNL gets away with this blatant endorsement of Obama. Durnig the last election cycle here in Seattle, our talk radio host John Carlson and KVI radio had to go to court to defend their right to commentary of candidates yet NBC has had no contest about their blatant coersion of voters toward Obama.
Thank God for the good people of FR to keep some honesty in this very charged political world.
OK, that was fun, Jeff
However, maybe you could contact the moderator/administrator and have your post reformated into paragraphs for an easier read.
The political media bias, which is worldwide and not just happening from within the U.S. alone, is a small part of the whole ongoing problem with worldwide political correctness. Political indoctrination in schools at every level all over the world, the continuing “dumbing down” of both people and tests all over the world, the re-labeling of things (e.g. changing “illegal immigrants” to “undocumented workers” when not all illegal immigrants even work) are all a part of the ongoing and worsening worldwide problem known as political correctness. All of political correctness all over the world must be seriously and successfully reversed to the best of human abilities until it’s also seriously and successfully eliminated for everybody all over the world and for always. Conservatism can’t really make a successful, full comeback all over the world until all of political correctness is successfully and finally eliminated for everybody for always all over the world. Continuing to really do nothing about all of political correctness will only help to make it even worse for everybody all over the world. There must be serious think-tanks created all over the world that will work hard to actually succeed towards eliminating worldwide political correctness for always.
I can’t read it.
Yet another noob ...
Please make it your last post without paragraphs ... and your last vanity ... sheesh
If I knew how your paragraphs were supposed to be, I'd just do it for you and repost it right in this thread.
I was a newbie once with html, and finally got the hang of it for here. I did the same thing you did until I learned, didn't post anything too long in those early days.
To this day, another forum locally where I occasionally post says it allows some html. So I tried to use some html formatting and even the simple (once you get used to it) paragraph, and my posts strung out to what seemed like infinity, no line breaks even and weird characters, a bunch of gibberish, making me feel ignorant so I never tried html there again afraid to cause another mess. Upshot of that was my long ones ended up looking just like yours even though I hit the carriage return b/w paragraphs and tried html.
Sometimes I get a little goofy, but I know I couldn't possibly have coded for all those strange characters!
So whenever I post one of my occasional, long diatribes where most people hate me because I am conservative but not combatively so usually (I don't think, don't hurl insults, sometimes people make me angry but I try to either ignore it or hit back with sarcasm). I've been offended and gotten my feelings more than I want to admit after 11 years on the web now; you'd think I'd developed thicker skin but I am basically pretty sensitive.
I've found that I can talk to a few liberals there if I don't immediately go into attack mode. Most of them I ignore, not worth my time.
That's enough, but I want to assure you that there are some really kind people here. I for one am kind of cranked up right now because of all that is happening in the world and the uncertainty of the election. My apologies for not addressing some of the substance of what you wrote.
My best wishes for you. Freepmail me or hit reply under my post, and I'd be glad to try to help.
Please, please...NO MORE POSTS.
Come on....lighten up Francis. I’m certainly glad the newbie is here than on DU. If you don’t like the format don’t read it or give some veteran advice on how to make it right...gotta make him feel welcomed...
Sorry...trolls sign up and post on the same day. No sympathy or encouragement from me.
Sorry about the formatting and probably spelling.
I don’t see how to re-enter and edit.
I’ll spend more time previewing before posting next time.
I am just so PO’d at the media and hollywood’s strait faced lies that are being directed at the McCain/Palin ticket and anything Republican. McCain and Palin are so clearly deserving of our respect.
You’re offended. Fair enough. Your post is still a vanity of unformatted, and how shall we put it, unoriginal thoughts, that you could have posted on an existing thread. Do so in the future.
LOL! Paragraphs are our friends. Good one.
JoMa
I would like to read it.
I can cut and paste my opinion piece into a new reply and correct all the formating that way. I did not realize there were so many touchy grammer teachers in the forum. I do recognize that FR is the standard by which all other forums are judged and as such, is held to a higher standard.
Freeping should be fun and not like this.
By popular demand, here is a formatted version of my posting.
This is my first post to FR so I'll keep it short and sweet!

I already know what a schmuck Biden is. What upset me so much and got me started on this is the original statement Biden made.

OK, that was fun, I hope the formatting has helped the more sensitive readers.
Jeff
