DUmmie DRuggies (Bashing)
vanity

Posted on 10/28/2008 5:35:56 PM PDT by DrHannibalLecter

as mentioned earlier, these 18 yr old druggies have a stronghold in the web 2.0 space. apparently they saw our digg thread and see their posts:

"Freeper has temerity to suggest new series of tubes to fellow freepers. Hilarity ensues." " Cave safe, fire is scary! Do not WANT!!" "Right, armchair interneting will not help mcCain much." "They are just as ignorant and backward as the Muslims they hate so much...n/t" "did these people find FR in the first place? Do they think FR IS the internet?"

I like this DUmmie quote the best though:

"Those who know how... should keep an eye on them" -------------------------------------------------- understandably there is always resistance to change, however, there is significant opportunity to transform and wake up the 800lb gorilla that is freerepublic and begin pounding these Wal-Mart cash register boys into the ground..via web 2.0 control. I understand, I'm perceived as a newbie here, but i have a solid understanding of the marketing instruments to win coupled with passion for conservatism

/only vanity of the day

Seems to me that the Admins would not want the massive influx of random crazies?

Amen!  I prefer our low key crazies than the random lib crazies that would be prone to follow a Digg link.

FReeRepublic is and was “Web 2.0” since before there was a “Web 2.0”!

Great. That still doesn’t tell me what it means.

Hannibal Lecter ate human body parts. You may be on the wrong forum.

LOL!  Web 2.0 means lots of things to lots of people.  Depends on who they're trying to con out of their money get to invest in their startup.

In short, Web 2.0 sites are sites that allow the users to participate in the site and contribute content.

FreeRepublic was Web 2.0 back when it was on Prodigy!

The stickier the site the more lucrative the advertising.

Now, that's where FR differs.  We contribute both the content and the financing.  Advertisers would constantly be bombarded by the moonbats if they advertised here anyway.

N/T usually refers to the post not having any text in the body, just a subject line.

Sheesh! What a time sink!

I already spend enough time deprogramming the Obamabots in the real world; I can’t deprogram them all in the virtual world as well.

Sigh... If only there was a real Republican candidate.

Okay, now I feel like I've learned something. Now I can't wait to try and work it into a conversation somewhere and make it sound like I'm really cool ("Cuz that's just the way I like to roll, dawg"). ;-)
