Obama can always divert attention away from the Blagojevich scandal with his birth certificate scandal.
I like the “leaking sludge” metaphor. I think Emanuel is already toast, we just don’t know it yet. It all depends on what’s on those tapes, and in documents that he gave Blago. Note Obama carefully stated “I did not speak with...” - no, he put it in writing. Once Emanuel is compromised I see BHO cutting him loose immediately. But it’s like chopping off a limb to stop infection, there’s more where that came from, and he can only cut so far.
Some idiot named Mary Mithcell from a Chicago newspaper was on MTP this morning and told the assembled masses she was surprised by how well the governor had hidden all this corruption from a preying press. My question would be, when it comes to Democrats and especially Democrats connected to OBama what preying press would that be? You only see what you want to see.
For THAT (first expression preferred) I’d have enough Christmas presents for the rest of my life.
I wonder if Rahm paid for Blago’s past Congressional seat when Blago became Governor?

Nonetheless, it is increasingly inconceivable that Emmanuel will not be grilled for his series of conversations with the Governor. If they weren't discussing the Senate Club seat, what WERE they discussing?

I'd bet my last dollar the Obama team know Blago was being investigated and stayed far away as possible and definitely didn't talk or email on electronic devices

Maybe Rahm’s in trouble for dealing about the replacement for his Congressional seat, not about the replacement for O’s Senate seat:

Ummmmm, he WON the election. Now they have to hold his feet to the fire just a little to show the world they're not totally biased. It's gonna take a lot more than that for the MSM to get any credibility back. Besides, if the MSM is going after Rahm, maybe they're doing it FOR Obama. Maybe Obama wants to dump him and this is the easiest way.
