A Tale of two Commanders-in-Chief. Our Marines remain the same - smart.
I have to admit this video made me laugh and laugh... then I remembered this is no laughing matter to the brave men and women who put their lives on the line for us every day. God Bless Them.

Boy, if this doesn’t show the difference between CIC...the troops love Bush but apparently don’t feel the same about Obama. How embarrassing for him.
Thank you for the ping. The contrast is amazing. It’s obvious those Marines knew who really appreciated them, and who was there for a photo op.
OMG what a difference!
Thanks for the ping.
I can't believe I'm saying this.. COME BACK,.. PLEASE... COME BACK. PRESIDENT BUSH. I FORGIVE YOU COME BACK
I bet a lot of middle of the road folks are feeling the same regret.
Not surprising, but extremely disheartening. I wonder how many will end their military careers? I remember the mass exodus when Clinton was president, can’t imagine what it will be now!
Thanks for the ping. Very enlightening. :(
US MARINES - smart & well trained.
Semper Fi!
Thank you./Just Asking - seoul62..........
<They look stunned.
That’s putting it mildly. They look like people I wouldn’t want to meet in a dark alley. What a difference in the reception for these 2 men!
The applause was very tepid, especially compared to the applause at President Bush’s departure.
It’s funny, but sad at the same time.
Thanks much for Your kindness;thoughtfulness;courtesy!!!
:)
That’s a great picture.
It’s one of my very favorite pictures of the president and his military (although I have many others). To me .. this picture says that President Bush loved these young men and women as if they were his own children .. and Bush knew full well that what he was asking them to do might cause the sacrifice of their lives. He loved them all the more because they were so willing to serve America.
One of my other favorites was when Bush made the surprise trip to Iraq for Christmas. When they made the announcement introducing “the most senior officer” .. out stepped Bush and the place errupted in a thunderous shout and applause .. it was so spontaneous .. Bush was driven to tears .. it’s a great picture.
Believe me .. the troops know all the horror stories of Vietnam .. and they show it on their faces when they see Obama .. I believe they are very worried they will be treated the same way - forced into battle without the proper arms and equipment.
