Barack Hussein Obama is president of the United States of America.
As such, he is due the respect that the highest office of the land commands. For reasons that every black person knows and many white people are learning, this president is receiving 400 percent more death threats than then-President George W. Bush, according to the Secret Service.
It's not all about Obama's desire to bring equity and compassion into the health care reform debate, although some people couch it that way. President Harry Truman tried to get health care reform several times, but he failed. President Lyndon Johnson signed a socialist program called Medicare into law. Neither drew as much ire as Obama.
It's not his pro-choice stance on abortion. The U.S. Supreme Court has had numerous opportunities to overturn Roe vs. Wade. In 1992, the 20th anniversary

It's respect for authority. It's respect for the president. It is respect for our upbringing."
Yeah, I'm sure she was knitting George Bush throws and handing out American Flags during Bush's presidency. Riiiiiiight...

"I'm old enough to have lived through racial segregation, the Civil Rights Movement, protests against the Vietnam War, and the break-up of the Beatles. That means I am "old school," and my thoughts emanate from that perspective."
Over your dead body, honey.
Race was never an issue here, Mrs/Ms Davis, but be assured, we know that race IS an issue you, as with many others, wish to foment and propagate. Ironic, huh?
I can only respect someone I trust. I don't trust the P.O.S. PERIOD!
I don’t care that he’s black. I care that he’s pink.
Tell us about your support for GWB, Maddie.
The race-baiters are really out in force.
When it’s MY President, I’ll respect him.
Yours is simply PRES__ENT....
And the title forgot to mention BHO is a Communist and a Muslim—people of death, esp. to poor blacks.
So, get your facts straight. The area and culture where Obama's ancestors on his father side came from enslaved other blacks and sold them into slavery.

It’s the left that brings up Obama’s race, not the right.
They are race-baiting. They are the ones clinging to race hatred.
My rule of thumb is, 99 times out of 100, whoever brings up race first in a discussion is the bigot.
He’s president.
He’s red.
KMA.
Get over that.
Apparently, “black” is a codeword for “arrogant, inept socialist.” And no, I’m not going to “get over it” until he’s no longer residing in the House that is White.
Stuff it, Merlene. You and that no talent Joel Pett is why I haven’t purchased that Liberal-Leader rag in years. I hope it goes under so deeply you are left pennyless...
WWOWWW!!!! She really sounds like a Sonia Sotomayor type!
Wisdom of experience!
I absolutely KNEW the Obama Presidency would bring THOUSANDS of these fudge-brained sorts out , getting face-time, air-time, and getting in print. What a retrogressive WASTE. Every day reminds me a little of that sick in the stomach feeling on the day when we heard millions of black Americans applaud when OJ got away with murder.
Hey Merlene Davis, hows about we give 0bama the same “respect” you loony left crazies gave President Bush, which consisted of referring to Bush as Hitler 365 days a year, and shrilly insisting that Bush planned the 9/11 attacks(talk to your buddy Van Jones. he knows all about that particular conspiracy. He signed a petition on that very matter).
She’s for ‘equity in healthcare’. So am I. I’m tired of paying for all the losers who don’t feel they need health insurance. Imagine how much we could all save if people without insurance or the ability to pay didn’t get FREE treatment. What’s equitable about me paying an arm and a leg and others, who don’t contribute to society, paying ZERO.
He’s a fascist, and that is unforgiveable.
First: The only ones bringing up race are liberals
Second: Obama is getting the same respect that liberals gave to Bush
Get over it liberals. Some people just don’t want to see their country disintegrating before their eyes, regardless of the color of the President’s skin
