Here is video of Glenn Beck remembering 9/11 and asking why Ground Zero is "still just a whole in the ground" after 8 years and "is this the best we can do?" Beck points out the the Empire State Building took only 400 days to build in the 1930s. (Watch Video)

You don’t have to investigate one bit to know the answer is: “Government”.
The same Government on which you will be waiting 8 years for an apendectomy.
Bloomberg had the audacity to tell Steve Doocey this morning that it hasn’t been that long and work has been started despite what people are saying. Said in his most condescending voice of course.
Well, don’t expect Obama and his anti-American ilk to do anything “AMERICAN” in the way of getting it built or remembering the significance of it. Recall his recent attempt to turn remembering it into some socialist “you work for the state service” agenda.....
What a crock.
Beck was white-hot this evening. I cried during his intro, and I don’t usually do those things.
why Ground Zero is "still just a whole in the ground"
A whole? A whole what? Did you maybe mean "hole"?
This kind of confusion is what happens when you let radio personalities think for you.
Revere those who fight and die, not those who talk about it and then go have dinner.
Beck was very good today.... again.
There is very little demand for office space downtown right now. They would have great difficulty getting tenants, especially at the high rents needed to make such a building profitable.
Personally, I hope it’s not completed until January 20, 2013. I don’t want Zero to have the honor of dedicating the memorial at Ground Zero.
I got to see Glenn’s show today. The first half of the show, about 9-11, was absolutely riveting.
BECAUSE THEY KNOW that NYC will be nuked . . . and would rather do something else with the money.
It may be a good thing to wait a bit before the new tower goes up to minimize an attempt to take a new one down. I suspect that that may be the real reason. Just creating a bit of distance.
Actually, if I had been handed the design that I have seen I would wait and have another architect come up with a new design. The current design is uglier than sin.
Being a rabble-rouser does not make one a hero.
