Rightwing Nuthouse ^ | September 22, 2009 | Rick Moran

Yes, but is Glenn Beck good for the conservative movement?

After all, even if the man who seriously wondered whether the fasces symbol on the back of a 1917 dime meant that the US government under Wilson was promoting fascism is a little excitable, and, by his own admission, a “clown,” many rock ribbed conservatives seem to have adopted this paranoid waif as one of their own.

Let’s see now. David Frum, Scarborough, Meghan McCain, David Brooks and this Rick Moron guy are all trying to get noticed by jumping on Beck. Who’s Next to join the chorus? Kathleen Parker?

Glen Beck is not the only component of conservatism.
However, he has made several important contributions and deserves to be listened to.

I think the real problem is that Beck is effective which creates a real contrast that exposes them for the impotent mewling kittens they are.

“After all, even if the man who seriously wondered whether the fasces symbol on the back of a 1917 dime meant that the US government under Wilson was promoting fascism”

That’s glib, and I’m sure unfair. Check out “Liberal Fascism” or a hundred other books for proof of Wilson’s, if not fascism, then I guess you can call it burgeoning socialism.

Someone should tell Rick Moron and the other State Run Media types that Glenn Beck “hates the Birthers”

Stop the presses!!

Gad, I’m so slow at times.

I wondered at the sudden spate of op-eds maligning Glenn Beck.

Another transparent attempt to smear the messenger.

The message cannot be discredited, so, time to discredit the messenger.

“the fasces symbol on the back of a 1917 dime meant that the US government under Wilson was promoting fascism”

Did the symbol of the Black Power Fist mean the Black Nationalist movement or the Black Panther party were fascist? Not necessarily. But really, yes.

Beck has properly traced the origin of the socialist movement in Amercia and has exposed the vast left wing conspiracy to the light of day.

Funny thing, the people that malign Beck are nobodies that are not successful.

jealousy is unbecoming

Beck has done a whole lot exposing Obama. I thank him for it.

Rick Moran? Wasn't he one of the MacKenzie brothers on SCTV? All these jealous little twerps whining about Beck make me sick. This guy uses the same Andy Griffith “A Face In The Crowd” analogy that Olbermann does. When so-called conservatives are stealing lines from the loony left, you know where they're really coming from.

BTW, that was a great movie, especially if you look at it as an Andy Griffith biography. :>)

It’s the RINOs that got us where we are by reaching across the aisle when the left needed the votes, and that includes the RINO writers in the lame stream media.

Glenn Beck is not a conservative. He’s a Ron Paul type libertarian. He equates the GOP with the most corrupt in the Dem party.

Turn the channel if you don’t like him (I do). But enough with the Beck hating.

The truth is scaring a lot of people.

Otherwise....why such a fuss over what some “Conspiracy mongering, paranoid TV host” says?

The truth is scaring a lot of people.

Some people refuse to see what is right in front of thier faces, which would be fine if they'd just STFU about it instead of whine.
