The Hawaii Department of Health has reversed course. They now admit that they do - in fact – make some vital records information available to the public. This admission reverses their prior response pattern indicating that “no information” could be released.

You can’t have a valid contract when you weren’t able to enter the contract in the first place.
Immigation law calls for a valid contract. No such contract was entered. Just because you lied on the marriage application does not make it a valid contract.
Do some research on immigration case law. The concept of bigamous marriage has come up before.
How in the world do you think you can have a valid contract just because you lie to enter into the contract.

It is not a VOIDABLE marriage. IT IS A VOID MARRIAGE. There is a difference.
Prove to me that Obama Sr. had a valid marriage prior if you can.. Then prove to me why the marriage makes any differance at all ,, Obama Sr. claimed Obama II/jr. as his child and gave him his name WHILE IN A MARRIAGE TO THE MOTHER.. US law says he is Obama Sr.'s child no matter what the other circumstances might be. Your building arguments based upon assumptions and presumptions, especially the void at inception bit, NOBODY HAS LEGALLY CHALLENGED THE VALIDITY OF THE MARRIAGE. Do you really think challenging it retroactively is a winning gambit for Dear Leader? The old ... let me fix my paperwork and stall for the next 3 years routine works for you??

In Hawaii a void marriage declaration must come from the court. Its one of the few states like that. We have been down this road before. Read the statute which I don’t have my hand on at this second.
No I don't. What is the documentation for that statement? Likely all it would take is a line in a marriage log somewhere in Kenaya, but we haven't seen that any more than we've seen a long form Hawaiian Certificate of Live Birth.
Show me the link to that law because I have never seen it.
Furthermore, it is UK immigration law that is relevant here.

I have to say if they went through all of it they will get caught. I am positive some nosey records employee has looked at Obama’s records. If they don’t match up, some little piggie is gonna squeal and it won’t be a luau.

But it would be perceived as legal until something triggers a change. After the fact, yes but not until.
And how would they know or set about proving that? Especially since Sr’s marriages were in Kenya .. a loose or tribal ceremony .. maybe undocumented by any official recorded paper there.
And in the 60s, and a world away, it seems logical that, if this mixed couple showed up, got a HI marriage license, it would just be accepted as fact that they were both single, if they said they were, and given a HI wedding license.
I have no doubt it was doable then, and probably doable today, and that in the eyes of HI, it would be a legal recorded marriage, and that there could be an official HI record, and the HI officials would have no reason to change or update it, exclusive of a lawsuit or court order to modify such change.
Bigamists are discovered when something triggers questions and investigation ensues.
State Vital Statistics departments don’t have detective squads going around to verify every single official event that’s recorded in their counties.
You don’t know that a valid marriage in Kenya would be recognized in Hawaii?

I *think* I remember them being listed as 1 minor child and 1 child still needing support for education, or something similar. But It's Friday and it's been a LONG week. (Plus I have a 3 3/4 hour drive ahead of me, not counting a stop for supper), and I could be wrong.
