Senator Russ Feingold, a liberal Democrat from Wisconsin, in a bold and courageous display of bipartisanship, had some harsh words in regards to President Obama's excessive appointment of 'czars'. At a hearing on on "Examining the History and Legality of Executive Branch 'Czars'" scheduled by the Senate Committee on the Judiciary, Subcommittee on the Constitution, Feingold's opening statement sounded like it came from a conservative member of the President's opposition, rather than a fellow liberal from his own party.

Wow! Coulda fooled me. I thought from the topic headline that Russ wanted to know why there weren’t more of them.
This country may eventually be saved by the clash of the power hungry and their eventual destruction of “the other”.
But I'm not familiar with this fellow's previous actions in congress, so I don't know how to judge this move.

How about the distinct possibility that Feingold and others are slowly awakening to the fact that there will be no elections, no congress, if the plan is to ultimately "replace" it with czars. There is no place for "representatives" in a dictatorship.
They certainly should be shaking in their boots.

Congress doesn’t like the President stepping on their prerogatives, even if it’s a same-party (Dem) President. I’m surprised this took this long to surface.
Or perhaps smart enough to realize that Dems who have some belief in the Constitution better put it on display or they will be destroyed in the implosion of the most fraudulent and unconstitutional administration in U. S. history. We do need two parties.
isn’t it terrible that even tho we like what this guy is saying in theory, we don’t know if we can trust or support him? We don’t know if he’s on the up and up about this.
It’s a Catch 22. People in Congress rise up and speak the truth but we can’t get fully behind him/her because we’ve been screwed by Congress so many times.

Now, the issue is, what happened in this hearing and will there be any followup?
AT LEAST Feingold held the hearing and was critical of the CZARS - which makes it more difficult for Obammies to claim the Czar issue is all racism and VRWC junk.

Now - please Congressional Republicans - don’t let the issue drop! Keep it front and center in those 1 minute speechees, in calls for more hearings, in calls to defund and dismantle the czar offices and to fire them all!
