Let me start by sharing that I like Governor Sarah Palin. Yes, I know she's no longer governor of the Great State of Alaska, but I was raised that you call a person who was a head of state by their former title, hence I will refer to her as Governor Sarah Palin. But it's the "former" tag that will keep her out of office for a good long time.

Well, there is one fact that anyone with half a brain can’t argue. If she was president right now, this country would not be in the horrible mess it’s in.
Elites understand this and are interested only in solving the economic problem. Ideologs like Palin certainly tap into a point of view held, frankly, by a group of the masses that are not elite, but that's the problem.

The correct titles for our many “Presidents” running around nowadays are Gov. Carter, Ambassador G.H.W. Bush, Gov. Clinton, and Gov. G.W. Bush. One way to take some air out of their imperial balloons is to restore the original practice.
Yeah, Sarah can’t possibly be elected because she a FORMER governor, just like FORMER V.P. Nixon in 1968 and FORMER Gov. Reagan in 1980. Americans NEVER vote for a FORMER anything.

Like Sarah, I’m an ASICS gal. Have been since high school and always will be. Though, I did like the free pair of NBs I got for fund raising efforts.
This guy reminds of those 5-star restaurants with the gourmet chefs who act as if the main course was the Hope diamond and therefor never to be consumed but merely admired; so, at great length they gush about its quality but finally conclude it can only be served to those who appreciate its meteoric timeliness.
They dress the plate in all their finery and present it to the select few.
And they, in turn, proceed to pick at the edges of the plate until they leave the retaurant unsatisfied and yet strangely dyspeptic.

Nor sure, but don't think either one quit in the middle of their terms. This I think really hurt her, know matter how lofty her reasons were. I really don't think she's ready or could be elected to the Presidency in the next election. I'd go up through the ranks, run for congress, and get some experience under my belt first.

Conservatives on Free Republic become involved and remain involved in grassroots activism, all while making the steps necessary to return our country to its Conservative principles and standards.
Jim Robinson wrote about his own activism, what would clearly be an arduous journey for anyone:

As for Sarah Palin, I voted for her in 2008 and hope she does not run for President in 2012. I do not think she can win the Presidency after only one shortened term as Alaska's governor. That being said, she is probably the candidate that best represents me so I would certainly vote for her again. I think she would do better representing Alaska in the Senate and then running for President.

The question was posed as an answer to “white uneducated masses.” The recent money hand out in Detroit and the interviews showed there are also masses of uneducated blacks. I just didn’t want to sound racist. Socialist leaders as Obama always depend on the uneducated to swell their ranks. Free money,or anythig else is the cement to build with.
Sorry, don't know what you are referring to as far as an excuse. You left off my suggestion which was for her to get into congress first, build some experience and reputation. I really don't think at this point she is electable. In the meantime, I would hope we'd find someone better than the 3 you mentioned.
